Speaking with Canadian press site 24Hours<\/a>, the actor\/director Ben Affleck says “”I’m not working on the Justice League. One of the problems with entertainment web sites is that they need to fill pages, and that’s how rumors get started,”<\/p>\n

It was just earlier this month<\/a> where the internet went crazy with speculation once word was out that Affleck was offered the directorial position for WB’s long delayed superhero team. But at least JL sounds cool, at least Affleck thinks so. “Justice League sounds really exciting, but it’s not something I’m working on,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

How’s that for comfort? No, well how about this rumor via Moviehole <\/a>that says the siblings Wachowski’s are on Warner Bros. list to direct the film? Hit the jump for more on that!<\/p>\n

What I\u2019m told is Warner Bros are apparently jazzed with \u201cCloud Atlas\u201d, and love that it\u2019s as much a spectacle as it is a showcase for the immense ensemble involved, so it makes sense the W\u2019s are under consideration. \u201cJustice League\u201d needs to be as big on character, as it does bells & whistles, and the Wachowski\u2019s could probably offer that.<\/p>\n

The directing duo have also gave the studio one of their most successful film trilogies of all time, \u201cThe Matrix\u201d trio (I won\u2019t mention \u201cSpeed Racer\u201d). <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
