DC today announced\u00a0DC\u00a0Pride<\/em>, an 80-page anthology comic featuring LGBTQIA+ characters from across the DC Universe, and\u00a0Crush & Lobo<\/em>, a new\u00a0eight-issue miniseries written by Mariko Tamaki (This One Summer, Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass<\/em>) with art by Amancay Nahuelpan (Nightwing, Wonder Woman<\/em>).\u00a0Crush & Lobo<\/em>\u00a0will launch on June 1 and\u00a0DC\u00a0Pride<\/em>\u00a0will publish on June 8. DC will also publish a series of nine\u00a0Pride\u00a0themed variant covers in June, showcasing DC\u2019s top characters as realized by the comic book industry\u2019s leading artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

DC Pride <\/em>#1 will feature LGBTQIA+ characters from all corners of DC\u2019s ever-expanding Universe, including cameos by fan favorites Batwoman, Renee Montoya, Alan Scott, Midnighter, Apollo, Extra\u00f1o, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Constantine, and more. The DC<\/em>Pride<\/em>creative teams, and the characters they\u2019re developing stories for, are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, DC<\/em>Pride<\/em>#1 will include full-page profiles of DCTV\u2019s LGBTQIA+ characters and the actors who play them, and fans of The CW\u2019s Supergirl<\/em>will be thrilled to see the first comic book appearance of Dreamer, a trans woman superhero, in a story written by actor Nicole Maines, who plays Nia Nal\/Dreamer on Supergirl<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rounding out the\u00a0DC\u00a0Pride<\/em>\u00a0anthology is\u00a0a forward by Marc Andreyko (Love is Love<\/em>), single-page pin-ups by artists Kris Anka, Sophie Campbell, Mildred Louis, Travis Moore, Nick Robles and Kevin Wada, with more surprises to come!\u00a0The\u00a0DC\u00a0Pride<\/em> #1 cover is by Jim Lee, Scott Williams and Tamra Bonvillain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this new\u00a0eight-issue miniseries publishing between June\u00a02021\u00a0and\u00a0January 2022,\u00a0Crush, daughter of the\u00a0Czarnian bounty hunter\u00a0Lobo, is in full-on self-destruct mode!
