Wing Commander Wing Commander: The Kilrathi Saga (WC 1 - 3)

The game that introduced the world to Chris Roberts’ Wing Commander universe.

It is the year 2654, set against the backdrop of the Terran Confederation/Empire of Kilrath conflict that has gone on for twenty five years. Aboard the TCS Tiger’s Claw, fresh from the Academy, 2nd Lt. Christopher "Maverick" Blair must rise up the ranks as the Claw participates in the Vega Campaign to wrest the Vega Sector back from the Kilrathi Empire.

THE SECRET MISSIONS (expansion/mission pack)

When the planet Goddard is besieged by a Kilrathi superweapon dreadnaught, the TCS Tiger’s Claw is called in to track down and destroy the Sivarnaught responsible.

THE SECRET MISSIONS II: CRUSADE (expansion/mission pack)

As the yearly Sivar ceremony nears for the Kilrathi in 2655, the planet Firekka is chosen, a planet with a bird-like alien race about to secure diplomatic relations with the Terran Confederation. The nearby TCS Tiger’s Claw, with the help of stolen Kilrathi fighters procured from a defecting Kilrathi captain, Ralgha nar Hhallas, must put a stop to it.

Wing Commander II: Vengeance of the Kilrathi Wing Commander: The Kilrathi Saga (WC 1 - 3)
(1992, 1996)

In 2656 the TCS Tiger’s Claw was ordered to attack the Kilrathi sector headquarters in the Enigma Sector within the K’tithrak Mang System. It was destroyed by stealth fighters.

Christopher "Maverick" Blair, after being put in suspicion himself for the destruction of the Claw by Rear Admiral Geoffrey Tolwyn and reduced in rank to captain, spends 9 years on Caernarvon Station. When the TCS Concordia sends out a distress signal and Caernarvon Station is the nearest help, Blair is given a chance to prove his innocence and eventually complete the destroyed Claw’s mission.

SPECIAL OPERATIONS 1 (expansion/mission pack)

Talked into joining the Special Operations Division of Confed, the now-Colonel Blair undertakes a mission to quell a rebellion aboard the TCS Gettysburg and defend rebelling Kilrathi worlds in the newly-secured Enigma Sector.

SPECIAL OPERATIONS 2 (expansion/mission pack)

Zachary "Jazz" Colson, revealed to be the traitor that sold out the Tiger’s Claw and sentenced to die in Wing Commander II, now eludes his captors and returns to the Society of Mandarins. Colonel Blair and the rest of the Special Operations Division must infiltrate the Mandarins’ base of operations and put a stop to them once and for all.

Featuring Marten Davies as the voice of Maj. James "Paladin" Taggart, Kirk Winterrowd as the voice of Maj. Todd "Maniac" Marshall, Jake Rodgers as the voice of Maj. After the TCS Concordia crashes into the planet Vespus, Colonel Blair is assigned to the TCS Victory by Admiral Tolwyn as wing commander. Joining with new comrades and fighters, Blair plays a part in the fateful series of battles that takes the Victory to Kilrah, where the final confrontation between the Terran Confederation and the Kilrathi Empire is waged and the outcome of the war is decided.

The Kilrathi War is over. Yet in the year 2673, something is rotting within the victorious Confederation.

Colonel Blair, having been living in quiet retirement on the farming world Nephele II, is recalled from his retirement by Admiral Tolwyn, who informs him of the scuffles in the Border Worlds, a former ally of the Confederation during the war. After being assigned the TCS Lexington, Blair must choose his loyalties, and joins the Union of Border Worlds and boards the BWS Intrepid. Upon investigating matters further, Blair learns of the Black Lance organization, an elite group of fighters with ties to the Confederation itself.

There was a Kilrathi prophecy that the destruction of their world would be the precursor to galactic Armageddon by a race of "Star Gods." In Wing Commander III, the Kilrathi homeworld was destroyed. Now the Star Gods will make their appearance.

2nd Lieutenant Lance Casey, son of Maj. Michael "Iceman" Casey of the original Wing Commander fame, comes aboard the megacarrier TCS Midway in 2681 as an alien race codenamed the Nephilim begin their invasion in Kilrathi space. Under the watchful eye of the now-Commodore Blair, who has since resigned to an R&D position, Lance learns the ropes as the Midway advances head-first into the Nephilim invasion.

In early 2669, a merchant on the Scarab loses everything he knew to a Church of Man attack that cost him his vessel and friends. Left with nothing, he receives word from his grandfather that he would be inheriting his Tarsus-class ship. Beginning a life of privateering, the merchant-turned-privateer travels across the Gemini Sector to make a living. Along the way he gets on the trail of the ancient Steltek race, a trail that leads him to dangerous missions and more profit.

RIGHTEOUS FIRE (expansion/mission pack)

A year later, after the privateer’s Steltek cannon is stolen by Church of Man Retros, he angrily sets off in search of it, completing a series of missions to stamp the Church of Man out of the Gemini Sector.

"A new face... a new place... a new story..."

In the distant future, approximately the year 2790, "Lev Arris" awakens on the Tri-System planet Crius, his memory a complete blank. The bartender of the Sinner’s Inn Bar on Hermes, Joe Kane, starts him on the road to privateering, a lifestyle he continues in the interests of unraveling the secrets of his past. His search leads him to Ricaud Industries, a twin brother, and the Kindred pirate organization.

Aboard the TCS Lexington in the year 2669, your mission is to spearhead the Terran Confederation fleet into Kilrathi space and take out Kilrah. Aboard a Kilrathi carrier, your mission is to spearhead the Kilrathi Empire fleet into Terran space and take out Earth. Whether you are Terran or Kilrathi is your choice.

A mixture of strategy and space combat, Armada is a fresh take on the Wing Commander universe. To date it remains the only Wing Commander game to feature multiplayer.
