During a shareholders meeting, Warner Bros. studio head Kevin Tsujihara announced released dates for upcoming DC movies including Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman but more importantly to us, that a Green Lantern reboot was planned as well. More info below.
Warner Bros. plans for a Suicide Squad movie(in discussions with four A-list stars) to be the first DC film to follow Batman v Superman, with a plan for release in 2016. Then we’ll get Wonder Woman and Justice League, and two more in 2018 with The Flash and Aquaman. In 2019 WB plans Shazam and Justice League 2.
So in 2020, you can (hopefully) set your sights on a Green Lantern reboot. Get your hopes up lantern fans. Its going to be a crazy six year wait with all these movies stacked. Oh, and this just in…Zack Snyder is officially set to direct Justice League 2.
Erza Miller (Perks of Being a Wallflower) has been announced as the star of The Flash. Variety also confirms that Jason Mamoa (Game of Thrones) will star as Aquaman while MTV says Ray Fisher will be Cyborg. Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams will all return from BvS to play their respective roles in Justice League: Part One.
