“Green Lantern Corps” Movie Will Probably Be Pushed Back

The good news is that if George Miller is actually on board to direct a Green Lantern Corps movie, he just received extra time to get it just right. The bad news is…we have to wait an extra month for that release. Thanks a lot Godzilla!

Warner Bros. has announced it is moving Gareth Edwards’ “Godzilla 2” from June 8, 2018 to March 22, 2019. The studio has also dated its creature feature “Godzilla vs. Kong” for May 29, 2020.

Additionally, the studio will release an untitled event film on Dec. 25, 2018, while an untitled DC movie is moving from June 19, 2020 to July 24, 2020.

Finally, the untitled DC movie, which is believed to be “Green Lantern Corps,” will now arrive two weeks after new films from Marvel and Illumination.

The Untitled DC Comics Movie (which was confirmed by Geoff Johns earlier this year), expected to be Green Lantern Corps, moves from June 19, 2020 to July 24, 2020.
