Back again for Wally's Pick of the Week! In case you don't know, this is where I pick MY favorite comic book issue of the week out of all my books. This week, since I'm super late. I'm giving you TWO great recommendations from the last two weeks. The first would be Robin #183.

In Robin #183, the final issue....we see Tim Drake preparing to say goodbye to those who matter most to him. From Ex-Girlfriend Stephanie aka Spoiler, to Zoanne, and Ives. A nice nod to Tim's supporting cast. He's doing this because he knows that Lady Shiva the assassin is back in town and she no doubt will strike soon. To simply spoil it for you(which you should know by now)...Shiva is seen eating delivered chocolates to start the issue off, and by the time we see her attack on Robin, we find out shes been poisoned(not fatally,of course) by TIM! He used that Batman intellect because he knew Shiva would no doubt kick his ass, so getting to her first was the only decision to make. Great issue, and if you like Tim at all you should pick it up. It even features a cameo by everyone's love to hate character Jason Todd.

Final Rating: 4/5

Moving onto THIS weeks pick of the week, Wonder Woman #29. I have to say that I have not been a big Gail Simone fan on this run, but over the last three or four issues, she's really brought me into it. Some of it might be because I'll buy almost anything with Donna Troy. Who has a GREAT scene where she belittles/argues with her older sister Diana. At this point in the story, Diana has gotten her ass handed to her(seen in the last issue) by Genocide but now even more shit has gone down. From the return of Steve Trevor to Zeus going deicide on that ass, to Genocide capturing Etta Candy. This is only part 4 of 8, and I'll be sticking around despite my brain telling me that the upcoming "Manazons/Olympians/WhateverYouWannaCallUsMen" arc will surely be lame. But I can't help it..I'm finally interested in a Wonder Woman comic and now I just can't drop it...

Final Rating: 4/5

Other Comics This Week:

Green Lantern #38- 3/5 I didn't want to pick it up, and I shouldn't have. A lot happened, but it was all predicted and did nothing to hype me for the next issue.

Superman #685- 3/5 Basically, Zod is going to run the Earth/Metropolis until Superman can get some dirt on him. Still debating whether to stick around for "World of New Krypton"

Marvels: Eye of the Camera #4- 4/5 Best Marvel title next to Thor. Art is best out there. Story is kinda like Kingdom Come but in the past..lol Just pick up one issue and you'll understand. Why doesn't DC have recap pages?

See you next week where we get Gotham Gazette: Batman Dead?, Jonah Hex #41, and maybe my first Deadpool issue???
