Exciting news on the movie front...this time concerning NOT Watchmen, but GREEN LANTERN. yep. You heard Wally right. Who brought it to you first? ME! Anyway, as my sources were telling me earlier this month that GL will be coming very soon, I can now confirm that. Green Lantern has been fast tracked by Warner Bros.(possibly a direct result from the WB/DC operations meeting?)

The news will be official in Production Weekly magazine(issue 621-August 7th 08). As you already know,writer/director Greg Berlanti has been attached to direct(after co-writing..lol), though that may no longer be the case. Sources also tell me that Greg wasn't WB's first choice, and still isn't their favorite, but it's his job to lose. As a treat, I leave you all with the OFFICIAL movie description:
