They do, to a certain extent. I too wish they would do it to the same extent that Marvel does, though.

WTF is going on with Sentry? Did he blast back to the Silver Age or something?

In the never ending discussion on retcons, the Sentry is a walking, talking retcon. They couldn't just introduce a new hero, the claim is he has been around the Marvel U. since the Silver Age.

The recent mini-series is flashing to back to that era, to fill in some of those blanks, since he was, um, never really there.

In a way, it is kind of cool, but in a way, I wish they would have just made him a 'new' guy all the around, and built up from there.

I just hate how whenever someone dies or is extremely hurt, someone ALWAYS raises them like that. I'm sure Iron Man is a lot heavier than that, he'd definitely be a two-man lift or at least an over-the-shoulder lift.
