This is what the 15th/20th movies they've made, when is DC going to start evening things out?

I'm not suprised Marvel seems to know what their doing with their propertys. Where as WB/DC can't tell their elbo's from their Ass holes.

This is lame... but whatever... anyway!!!

DC is currently working on two more animated films, too, btw... Wonder Woman and Teen Titans. As for Marvel making so many movies... you've got to remember that they've been getting made by different studios, only Iron Man and TIHulk have been made by the same production company... DC has to go through WB becasue WB own DC.

If DC were like Marvel, I can garuantee you that there would be plenty of DC movies out there, too... but they're two different situations... just remember... its WBs fault, not DCs... and even then, its not like they haven't made some.

Constantine, Batman Begins, Superman Returns, and V for Vendetta off the top of my head... sure thats not a lot, but its about on par with the total of Marvel films made by any one production company since X-Men hit at the box office.

2) Marvel has released QUITE A BIT of crap, like the *1st* FF-movie, and the Cap -film, and Elektra; the LAST TWO FF-movies........

You hated Batman Begins that much? Wow, you are the first person I have ever heard of having a truly negative reaction to that movie. I had heard of people not being that excited by it, but strongly negative? Never before. In fairness, I don't visit Batman related boards or anything, so I wouldn't have seen much response from those that have the strongest opinions about Batman in general.

If you don't mind my asking, what was so bad about it? I thought it was great, myself.

True, Marvel is making more movies right now. But on the animation front, DC is still doing fine. Superman: Doomsday, New Frontier, the AniBatrix or whatever that Batman Begins 1.5 is called... Wonder Woman and Teen Titans are next in the pipeline. Plus, they had a more or less successful Batman cartoon, a Legion cartoon, and a Brave & the Bold is on its way.
Marvel isn't sleeping, of course (Spectacular Spider-Man, the upcoming Wolverine and the X-Men, Young Avengers and now the two Hulk movies).

When it comes to live action movies, Marvel is kicking DC's ass right now. But that might change if Warner finally gets its act together and creates their own DC studios. Which is only a matter of time.

you know it just wasn't for me, i don't know what it was but to me it sucked. BUT the Dark Knight isn't going to suck, it's going to be one of the best movies this summer (besides HellBoy 2)

lmao, thats soooo funny. How can you have great expectations for Dark Knight and not enjoy Batman Begins? It's the same cast all the way around, just a tad bit darker. If you're Batman fan, you would have enjoyed Begins like the rest of us. No offense but if you're excited for Hellboy then it pretty much explains why you wouldn't like Begins...don't be surprised if you hate Heath Ledgers performance as Joker either...

I think the surprise is more about your expecting to like Dark Knight than your opinion of Batman Begins. I kind of share that surprise, myself, since it is essentially the same team that made BB, isn't it? Why would you expect it to be more to your liking? Not that it won't be, but the expectation surprises me under the circumstances...
