When did you start reading comics?

Um, I want to 1992 or 93.

What was your first comic? (If you can remember)

First owned was The Flash(it was a Messener-Loeb issue with Dr. Alchemy on the cover).

Who is you favorite non-GL Character? Non-DC character?

Bruce Wayne is my favorite character. Favorite Non-DC...Sonic? I haven't read a Sonic comic in a while(though I want to!).

Do you have any siblings?

My father has some children elsewhere but aside from those two that I never see...nope. Single child.

I was once forced to watch Walker Texas Ranger for an entire day. I am programed to say Chuck wins.

Favorite TV Show?

Currently: Family Guy. Otherwise, Dawson's Creek.

Least favorite movie?

THE COOKOUT. I would link you but I'm not that mean. Its the only movie I have ever wanted to walk out the theaters on. Just awful. I forced myself to laugh....

What are your turn ons?

Starburst candy. Chew it, kiss me, put it in my mouth(with your tongue of course). INSTANT turn on. Sexiest thing ever...and delicious.

Grant...nah, its actually Mark Waid.

Andy Kubert. Just love his work. All of it. I'll buy almost any Andy variant cover, can't get enough Andy Kubert art.

If you could create a mutant, what would his ability be & how would he look like?

He'd look normal but have the powers of invisibility. I always thought that power was amazing. Think of all the things a kid would do if he could be invisible when he wanted to? Love that idea. Plus, with that whole "2nd mutation" where powers develop further stuff...(i think)...It would be even cooler if he could start making other things go invisible! Someone get on that story.

If you could create a GL what would he/she/it look like, & what'd he/she/it be named?

Don't know what he/she would look like, but it most certainly not look like a human. I hate seeing aliens that look like us. Its just limiting imagination.

If you could travel anywhere right now where would you like to go?

For free? I'd love to go to Paris with someone I love. I'm very Disney-minded so any place that screams "Will you marry me?" would be the first place. If I had to pay? Popeyes Chicken N Biscuits.

If you could write a Flash story, which characters would you choose?

It really depends on what kind of story I want to tell. If its a straight action story, I'd want to use both Barry and Wally. If its a romantic story, I'd use the entire Flash family and center it around Iris and Linda. I could go on, because I think about this kind of stuff daily. lol

what what so great about final crisis to you, where others thought it was pure awful

Final Crisis was told in a way that no other writer has ever attempted. The style told was considered confusing to many at first, but simply observing more allows the reader to catch on to the method of storytelling. Every issue of the book told you something new, built on what was given in the previous issue and gave each character something to do. Every character stayed true to their current iterations. Final Crisis took a by-the-numbers idea, and told it in a way that we've never seen before. Final Crisis introduced aspects of the DCU that can be pulled from and used for years to come. Sure Martian Manhunter was killed off, but that was its importance. It was a story of murder after murder after murder. From Gods to Martians to Lanterns to City cops...Final Crisis hit every genre you can think of. Final Crisis provides something new and unique every time I reread it, and provokes imagination to go further every time I reread it. That's comics. I could go on, just ask.

when did you start reading titans

It wasn't too long ago. There was a New Titans archives released in 2000(I believe), and I bought that to get into the old stories. I've read that quickly, and impatiently waited for the next volume. There are about 4 hardcovers of that released so far. They don't collect much, but I prefer hardcovers so I still buy them. There's another archives that collects a few of the 60s issues and I also have a few stray issues of Dan Jurgens' Teen Titans stuff, but I wasn't big on that. And a few Johns' issues and most of the TITANS shit much to my dismay. That's my history.

how long have you been a wally west fan

Since I fell in love with speed. I loved to run, and I was forced to read more. Pretty sure Sonic came first then The Flash. William Messner-Loeb hooked me on Wally, and eventually I went back traced his history.

What was the #1 takeaway you had regarding Final Crisis?

The DCU is full of untapped potential in so many aspects.

LOL. I would, and sell it. I'd be happy just meeting the man.......(the legend).

Why should I watch Lost beyond the second season?

Depends. Have you finished The Sopranos? The Wire? If not, then you shouldn't. Otherwise, I have reason to believe that the curiosity of not knowing what happens will eventually kill you if you don't satisfy it.

And finally, how long (if ever) do you think it would take for you to fix continuity issues with DC?

I could. Or I believe I could. Depends on my freedom. I think I would have to focus on a group at a time. Batman family, Superman family, Titans...blahblah. I want to believe that Geoff Johns is doing that now. Except he doesn't seem big on capitalizing on the past in its full glory. Which isn't something I would be GOOD at, but I certainly would be a lot more open to it than he seems to be. I would do some terrible things to be in those halls.

LotR was so long that I barely remember all that happens. But yeah, something like that but a more modern approach of course.

What comic character do you feel is under appreciated?

WONDER WOMAN. The most underrated and under utilized character in the DCU. Also Renee Montoya is rotting away in that cofeature. A lot of the women in DC, aren't getting any shine. Its a real shame.

What got you into comics?

As far as I can remember, it was a friend handing me a Sonic the Hedgehog tracebook. Loved it, and started reading his comics.

What new writer do you feel has a lot of potential? Artist?

Shit...I like Eric Trautmann, but have no clue if he's "new". Artists...Yildiray Cinar is great. Love his sketches and his art. I'm almost tempted to touch that Legion of Superheroes book of his coming out soon just on his art alone. Sean Murphy is a guy who needs to be in the DCU right now. No clue if he's new either, but looking at Joe the Barbarian just makes me shiver with anticipation for what could be. Sean fucking Murphy.

What is one of your biggest pet peeves in comics?

Writers who ignore continuity. Whether its past or present.

Also colorists who refuse to do reference with characters. Especially in today's digitial world where these fuckers are WORKING ON A COMPUTER! Finding out Wally's eyes are green is...wait for it...TWO clicks from the DC Wikia homepage. If that's too much to ask of someone to do their fucking job, then call me fucking Hitler. So..in conclusion, the lack of respect for continuity is my biggest pet peeve.

Had a great dream last night actually...nevermind. Never really had a fantasy. Sex is good without the gimmicks.

No clue...my people weren't treated so well that I would want to go back to those times. If things were different...the 50s seemed like fun. Gangsters!

Don't know. It changes everyday. Starburst, Reeses, Laffy Taffy, Skittles, PayDay...

my favorite POP is probably Faygo Grape.

Favorite Chips?

Again, changes everyday. Scratch that. Dorito's Taco. Not the new one that is Chilli and Taco. Not the one mixed with Chipolte Ranch. But the straight Taco flavor. At one point it was sponsored by Taco Bell. They are really rare these days. I have to go way out to get them when I'm at home. Those are some delicious chips. I finish those $5 bags in about 10mins. Only stopping out of the self delusion that I will save the rest for later.
