A good piece about Ginger Baker. He had some interesting things to say about Mick Jagger.

Because of a lot going on, I simply forgot to mention some major news.

Yesterday, my neighbor of over 30 years, Ron Elliot, passed away. He had been getting worse and had significant trouble moving or keeping a comfortable temperature, and had to be placed in hospital care when he passed on. I don't know his exact age, but he was easily into his 80s, if not close to 90.

The man was such a tremendous help to us over the years, helping plow our driveway and repair busted pipes and even mowing the lawn a couple times when our riding mower was in the shop. He refused to take money for these deeds because he did not believe doing so was very neighborly. His wife and any remaining family, as well as my own, will miss him.

I'm sorry for the loss, Purple. Sounds like your neighbor Ron Elliot, lived a long life, and was a great guy.
