Not Earth-2 Alan, this Alan the one that died destroying D'Arken while paralyzed. He is old, the father of Obsidian & Jade. And is not in the 40s but in the present.

I wouldn't mind flashbacks to the 40s but not an entire episode or series set in that time.

I'd like 40s Alan.

But one thing I didn't like was the captain america film which was set in the 40s. Liked the concept of 40s CA, but they excecuted it so badly. Then again, I didn't like his excecution in the avengers either. But I think Alans story should be set in the 40s.

I kinda get what Hybrid is saying. I am done ith WW2 movies,Hollywood treats it like it is the only War we ever fought in. I just feel like some heroes work better in thier classic settings. Dick Tracy,The Shadow,and Alan.

Given movies like Sky Captain and League of Extrordanary gentlemen. I can share Hybrid's skeptisisum, But I think givien the right Director who cares about the source material. Hollywood should have the chance to impress us.
