Shit, man, if those costumes can be downloaded into a LBP game, I'll fucking play it.

I think those are for LBP 2, but they might not be downloadable anymore

Read Venomverse/Venomverse: War Stories #1, liked both. I think the "Poison" name is a bit schlocky, but the redesigns are fairly good (Dr. Octopus looked killer, and Hulk too, but Spider-Man was basically Future Foundation in appearance).
I also liked seeing a wide variety of reinterpretations of known characters (Carol Danvers as Captain America, but just her mask and the shield are new because the rest is her current Captain Marvel attire; Punisher-Venom; Dr. Strange-Venom; and this one female Venom with Freakazoid hair that I suspect might be Domino, so I hope she survives).

‘Venom’ Movie Lands Michelle Williams to Star Opposite Tom Hardy
Welp, I'm in. Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed. They haven't missed yet. Looks like Sony and Fleischer are definitely trying to make this work. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony surrounded Fleischer with top talent like WB did with Gangster Squad and just hoping for that to win out in the box office. |

I'm still skeptical about the Venom movie, but I haven't turned down any Marvel based comic book film in a very long time.

So I flipped through a copy of Marvel Knights: Metal-ish yesterday. The fold-out cover was actually very nice, and I saw a couple old faces, but overall I thought it was just a poor imitation of something that's already bizarre-as-fuck. That "1,000,000 BC" nonsense was just awful.

I'm sick of them trying to sell Star-Brand. I think that character is lame. They don't seem to want to give up on the new Ghost Rider either even though his new series was canceled before hitting double digits. I like the car concept, but Johny Blaze was just cooler. Some intriguing hints about what is coming down the road, but overall not a comic that would get someone to "switch sides". It just reminded me of the "Point One" comic they release a year ago or so catching people up with the current affairs and laying tracks for new stories.

I dug the idea as well, not sure why they never did it again. Maybe these "event" comics just always sell better, so why not sell it as an event rather than just "catching up with the universe" while setting expectations for the next year or so of stories? Anyways that's all Legacy was to me, settling on what happened before, peaking at what's to come.
