Question Carol's Paralyisis?

Back when Hal Revealed his identity to Carol Ferris, she was in a wheelchair paralyzed by the psycho-kenetic child known only as Sybil. I'm wondering how or when did the paralysis heal/wear off?we see her still in the wheelchair several issues later when Hal and Ollie encounter the Environmentalist Isaac.
any help is appreciated.
Scans would be great!

I remember trying to figure this out at some point, too. I seem to recall coming to the conclusion that it just happened off panel at some point. I had a nagging suspicion that I had read something where she was cured, but I think that was juts faulty recollection involving a story where she was lured to an island with the promise of a cure.

DC Comics inconsistancies strike again! I'm not surprised.
Seriously, does anyone remember when Batman used to kill people...
... with a gun? I think I read maybe one of those old issues.

I'm pretty sure it's explained. I'll try to look it up later.

Carol Ferris lost her ability to walk following an encounter with a young mutant named Sybil (GREEN LANTERN [second series] #83) and was confined to a wheelchair for months thereafter (through GL #89). The mental block that prevented her from walking was broken when Carol's Star Sapphire personality briefly flared into dominance (SUPERMAN #261).

Though, flipping through the issues now myself... seems I was wrong. No explanation is offered directly on the page.

The first time you do see her non-paralyzed is Superman #261, which was during one of Hal's various cancellation periods. It looks like Carol could be paralyzed in the early panels while she's on the plane in the beginning of the issue... then as soon as Star Sapphire takes over later in the issue, she's walking around.

I guess we just put two and two together on our own, I guess...

As far as I know all the paralyzing was psycho to begin with so it makes sense John was never truly paralyzed.

John was paralyzed and Hal cured him in the Final Night. When he fought Fatality -- when he became apparently re-paralyzed -- this was when it was all a mental thing.

Could have been worse... could have been the Bruce Wayne cure in KnightQuest: The Search.

LOL, thats funny.

My personal favorite was the very weird strip session by John that he performed for Fatality. That shit was just soooo left field.

One of his earliest issues he uses a gun to shoot a vampire with silver bullets(!) A far cry from the guy who wanted to see if he could even hold a gun during Bruce Wayne: Fugitive.

Here's a guy who claims not to believe in the supernatural (unless it's Deadman) or believe in Magic (unless it's Zatanna).

Bruce Wayne: Hypocrite.
