I love how Hal still has the same style of domino mask in this Blackstars mini series as he does as a Green Lantern.

Hal has never been creative. He sticks to what has worked.

Yeah nobody ever accused Hal of that.

I wish I could see the point of this. Talk about cutting Hal down a peg or two.

And this isn't even him, correct? This is going to be a multiverse Hal? If I wanted multiverse Hal I'd read some old bloody Elseworlds comics.

INVISIBLE SKY DADDY TO THE RESCUE!!!

You don't have to be stupid to believe in God. But it helps.

You can tell a Yorkshireman....but you can't tell him much.

You know that this continuity will be erased, but I feel like all DC comics continuity is kind of nebulous now so I have a hard time criticizing any title for "not mattering". It's another dense sci-fi read, especially with the verbal particularities exercised by the demons; the dialog isn't trite coffee shop talk and can be hard to follow at times, but I still enjoyed it. I like that these aren't just movie pitches or something that can easily be adopted into film; it's pure funnybook.
