Default Okay... seriously... another VS thread.

My friends and I decided to start playing VS on a regular basis again, so I buckled down and completed my Team Arrow deck, which is essentially a JLA/Titans deck, with teh final 3 character drops holding their own... and now, I've gotten bored, so I'm gonna post the deck, here... not becasue I think any of you care, but rather simply becasue I can... HAH!

I'll start out with the character cards:

4x Speedy

4x GA Connor

4x Arsenal

4x Black Canary

4x GA Ollie

3x GL Hal HTH

3x Batman

2x Spectre

1x Superman

And now the plot twists:

4x Crackshot

4x Crisis Averted

4x Nasty Surprise

4x From the Shadows

4x A Better World

4x Narrow Escape

4x No Man Escapes the Manhunters

And the both the other types:

4x Twin Firearms

4x Hall of Justice

And there you have it... my brand spankin' new Team Arrow deck... its been a very long time in the making (almost as long as my GL Zero Hour deck was), but its now here and ready to play... I'm actually quite excited to test it out soon.

Well, the game is dead now. So, I'd say save your money.

However, the starter decks are probably pretty damn cheap now if you look in the right place. The game is fun to play, especially with some friends in a non-competitive environment.

I think it's pretty easy to learn, but then I already played Heroclix, and some people hate to learn that game.

Thanks Parry.

This makes up for your comments the other day.

I'll have to start playing with friends again because I miss this game.

I may even build this deck!

Only, you know, better.

Ninty: VS is great fun and easy to learn/play *though good strategies will onyl come over time), and since it IS dead, like Bruce mentioned, you can get most cards real cheap now... so if you ahve some friends you think would like to play, I couldn't recommend it more... its still my favortie CCG, even though it died out.

Bruce: Yeah, well, this deck was made shearly for the hell of it... mroe for fun than to utilize any particular strategy... now, my Zero Hour deck was built around the specific strategy of getting to the 9th round to annihilate the opponent with Zero Hour, thus the name... THAT deck took forever to put together properly, and was built for competition.

Uh, I think you know I was kidding.

Did you use the all that Dr. Light/Willpower bullshit?

I say bullshit, because it is, but it's still cool to have a Zero Hour deck.

Nope, no Dr. Light... I actually utilize the Hal Jordan/Parallax 9 drop willpower exploit, and then whip out the Zero Hours.

The Guy Gardner GL VS card is my novel bookmark and the Guy Gardner Warrior is my nonfiction/work bookmark.

Found both in the first two and only packs of VS cards I've bought.

Yeah... I've mostly got the heal stall going on with Sector 2814, Katma Tui, and Ganthet... and my lower drops are strong enough to hold their own, for the most part... and I typically skip the 8th round of attacks completele using the white Kyle/Ion 6 drop as my 8 drop... it works out pretty well most of the time... sometimes you'll completely fuck up, of course, because, regardless of how good your deck is, sometimes you'll draw badly... twice... and never recover... but more often than not, I do pretty well for myself... and there's nothing better than the feeling you get when the game ends with your opponent at -70 to -120 endurance... its like, as long as you can make it to round 9 without going negative (which is sometimes easier than others), with the Hal Jordan/Parallax exploit and the use of Zero Hours (being defended if needs be by This Bores Me) you've pretty much raped your opponent... I love that deck... a lot.
