Default How do you display you stuff?

I'm finally going to be setting up a Comics display in my home... you know, a place for my comics, figures, and comic related DVDs... I don't have the massive shit load of stuff some you have, but I decided I want to do it.

So I got thinking... how do you all have your stuff set up? I know there have been figure collection threads, before, but this is a little more widespread. Tell us how your comics stuff is organized and show pics of it all.

I don't have pics yet, but I plan to organize my comics display bookshelf like this...

Top: TPBs and HCs
Top Shelf: Figure Display
Second Shelf: DC DVDs
Third Shelf: OT DVDs
Fourth Shelf: 3x GA comic boxes
Bottom Shelf: RA box, Xover box, OT box

I'll take a picture of it once its all organized and set up properly.

So... now... how do you display all YOUR stuff?

Well my basement at home has my comics organized by universe and then alphabet. Then I have a shelf of little items like my Flash ring replica and my other random "collectors" items(Star Wars Monopoly, Pokemon/Yu-gi-oh cards, etc..). My comic dvds are with my other dvds so no special treatment there...I'm a simple guy with simple stuff.

I don't display my stuff. Except for the figures... recently I had to buy a big tall bookshelf with 5 or 6 shelves, I think. I have this in between the living room and the kitchen. First shelf is all my GL-related figures, second shelf is JLA and misc. DC heroes, third shelf is all of my villains, and fourth shelf onward down is for whatever.

Since I am new here... I'll post my stuff as it stands now:

desk at home_

some at work_

Fav comics with figures to match each run_

My GL, Sups and Justice League collection is a bit large now_

I also collect DVDs... I am at around 7000 now and had to move a lot into binders because I am running out of shelf/ wall space. I am about to move so I will have more room and better displays for everything_

Those are some great photos!

In my old house, I used to have three comic rooms. Since we moved, I now have one comic room that's larger than the old ones, but less wall space. I have all of the best/favorite stuff displayed, and a shitload of toys and posters stored up in the attic.

My comics lie in messy stacks next to my bed, or in my night stand. Most of my figures are in boxes in the closet, and there are a few on my night stand (with a nice layer of dust on them).

May I make a suggestion to you? I started doing this over a year ago, and I love it.

Start compiling all the 'series' or 'chronological' movies together instead of in separate cases. It'll cut down on the space you need and keep them more organized.

For example; Your Superman 1 through 4. Combine them all into a single case, download a new combined cover for them and there you go.
If you have all the Blade movies, combine them into a single case, pick the cover you like best, download and print off and there you go.

I have a game room dedicated to displaying my toys and things. I don't display many of my action figures because they tend to get really dusty and fall over all the time. Standing them up is a pain in the ass. Most of my figures are displayed in my Action Figure Museum in my signature.

Quick Question for Assasin though, where did you get the small hal jordan figure where he stood on checkered tiles from?? is it the one from the Who's Who sets?

If I remember correctly, I believe it came from one of the Heroclix sets. It was one of those "mystery boxes" where you didn't know what you were getting. Fortunately, my LCS let me open them all to get the Hal Jordan.
