Baz is one of umpteen members of a JLA spinoff title. Hence, he gets the tip of my shoe instead of a forum. Before that he was just wasting panel space in Hal's title. Larfleeze OTOH, will actually be getting a solo series.

I wouldn't want to waste the five bucks. I don't imagine this book will be around long either. But hell, if DC gets it out of their system now, we can move on. Geoff's been hot to push his own character since he made him so this was inevitable. Once it proves itself a flop, we won't have to worry about Larfleeze taking up so much room on the front burner of the GL stove.

That said, no reason fans of the character and readers who like the book can't have a forum to chat about it. It's only fair. I figured with the cancellation of GL TAS and Threshold, it was time to make an individual forum for the 5 GL titles DC will be publishing from this point forward.

Larfleeze you mean? Yeah. I really wish the ongoing could explore the horror elements that made him so cool when he debuted in that four part arc in GL vol 4. I know the genie can't be put back in the bottle now that Larfleeze' comedy style has been cemented, but I'd still have preferred it.

I don't see how a comic relief clown with great power could have longevity with his own title in the DCU. Might as well give G'nort his own title.

To be honest, I'm shocked Red Lanterns are still selling. People were probably buying to finish out the Wrath of the First Lantern arc.

Larfleeze has kid appeal. I had a copy of the Larfleeze Christmas ish, loaned it to a neighbor kid for a day or two and I'm still waiting to get it back. (Or maybe his mom saw it and threw it out and he was just too scared to tell me!) I think he's kinda cute. Like some politicians I know. Mine. Mine. Mine.
