Circle of Fire gets reprinted because Saga is still hot despite its hiatus, and Brian K Vaughan didn't write many collectable story arcs for DC, mostly just random issues here and there. And now they're cramming in more issues to inflate the price tag of the collection.Comment

Jae Lee did a cover for Ethan Van Sciver/Comicsgate, prompting Tom King to call him a racist on Twitter. Lee has almost no online presence and spends a lot of time in South Korea. King eventually speaks privately to Lee and clears things up between them.
King is former CIA, which I didn't know before. Dude had a government job and didn't think to contact his editor to try and reach Lee over potential involvement with a hate group? He raises a fuss about Lee doing art for EVS but doesn't bitch about Chuck Dixon being included in an 80th Anniversary special when Dixon had no qualms with a publisher he worked with being an avowed white supremacist? Or Scott Lobdell being a sexual predator who's protected by Bob Harras?

His "landmark run" featured the catastrophe of the bullshit wedding of Bruce and Selina, which caused the sales of Batman to collapse.

Fuck King is right. He spends his time bullying other smaller less successful artists into taking or not taking work that HE deems right. Put aside the fact that he is completely wrong about EVS and comics gate, who are good guys just interested in making good comics without being forced to insert politics in their funny books. The truth is King and asshole creators like him are hipoctrytical gatekeepers in a dying industry. Lee should have told him to go pound sand and take whatever booking he wants.

Didn't EVS tell a fan to kill himself and thus earn a firing from DC and his name no longer being associated with Green Lantern despite his and Johns's heavy contributions to the franchise?
Because that doesn't sound like a "good guy" thing to do.
