THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION, BUT I TOOK INFO FROM THE GL COMICS JUST IN CASE
The Antimonitor appears in a green lantern comic, so this mean it is a decoy, if he were the major villain, he should appear in the blackest night comic. I still believe KRONA (not nekron) is behind everything since the beginning look at the hints: 1.- last page of green lantern # 3, the leader of the manhunters, look at his vest, it doesn't look like the cyborg, it looks more like krona, and then they show as a decoy that the cyborg is the leader of the manhunters. 2.- In green lantern # 5 , black hand is taken by a weird german yellow goblins, so black hand is related with these yellow goblins 3.- In green lantern # 6, hector hammond is abducted by these yellow goblins, and in one of the pages that hal is fighting the shark, hector hammond says: "jordan...the time... do you rememberrr....THE RENEGADE GUARDIAN.....anddd... carol...." he was trying to warned hal. remember the renegade guardian, but of course hal was fighting and couldn't hear what hammond was trying to say 4.- At gl # 13, look at first panel, first page, its krona, same vest as gl # 3, and look that hal don't mention his name, he refers to him, as a RENEGADE GUARDIAN 5.- It is not the first time krona and nekron works together. 6.- when they trapped the antimonitor, someone was there before nekron arises, probably the one that was talking when the battery traps the antimonitor was krona. and i remember somthing in gl #35 (3rd series) that krona was in an entropy uniform and he says that the next time he was going to rise the dead. sorry about grammar, english not my native language What do you think?

No chance. He's trapped in the worldsoul of Earth-1.
And even if they wanted to, he's too fresh from Trinity.

Very doubtful. Given they went to all the trouble of installing him as the worldsoul of Earth-1 in Trinity, it seems likely he's being reserved for probably the first big Earth-0 and Earth-1 crossover... probably where the superheroes of both worlds combine to take on Krona.

so is trinity cannon or not because somone told me it wasn,t unless i misunderstood because they had a part where John Stewart was married and had kids and i was confused
The reason i say he might come back was cause Johns was kinda hinting to it on twitter or I just read too much into it

It went back and forth from Cannon and not during the first few weeks but after issue 12 it was confirmed it was Cannon.

Well... the whole story was canon, but if you mean the way it went to Krona's sort of manufactured reality in the middle, then yes.

I definitely think this person is onto something. Maybe Krona isnt the big bad of this, but I could see him being in a story arc down the road. Lot of good points

I'd be very surprised, though, if it was in a Green Lantern story. He's kind of become Busiek's baby, and you're fooling yourself if you think Krona's placement in Earth-1's worldsoul -- immediately before DC starts developing Earth-1 stories -- was just done by chance.

To be quite honest, I havent read anything in Trinity, so all of that stuff was completely lost on me. I have no idea what a worldsoul is lol. I kind of wish he were in a GL story though, since he is a GL villain.

Well, if Busiek takes Krona from us, we should get the Confessor.
It's only fair.

I was hoping for Krona to be involved also, but it's not happening. Is Krona still the embodiment of entropy?

No. And apparently Mera evokes more rage than Doomsday.

Oh, and just read the Damn Story. It's Psychopathic Zombies with power-rings, why are reading so much into it? First you complain these guys HAVE rings, then you complain they shouldn't have rings, now it's the wrong person.
