Default Blackest Night: JSA #2 *Spoilers*

The art was good as usual and the story was "Meh!" but this might have my favorite moment from Blackest Night in it. Basically, all the dead JSA Black Lanterns were acting innocent and claiming to help the JSA and then they just punked the FUCK outta the JSA!

What you guys think?

I don't think the art was that good. Eddy Barrows is just not an artist I can look at for an entire issue....or even the amount we were given here. Also, you would think they wouldn't have such a dramatically different artist for the rest of the issue.

As for the story, its more of the same.

Best. Fakeout. Ever.

I almost wanted to believe BL Damage was telling the truth.

I think this, and the BN Flash have been the best of the mini's.

I just can't get over Black Lantern Damage.

He fucking SLAMMED these guys! Completely destroyed their base and got Black Lantern Earth-2 Superman back on his feet. I actually thought he was good and I was kinda pissed cause that would of been stupid but then he punks the JSA and I started dieing! I think that's one of the best Black Lantern moments from this whole thing.

Didn't like the last issue one bit but I really liked this one. Thought outside the box a bit and gave us some surprises.

I agree. I also just noticed it's co-written by Tony Bedard so that's probably why.

Wasn't too bad. Much better than the first issue. Like most of you, I actually thought Damage was sincere. That was the best part of the book. I just wonder why BL Lois Lane had to give up her ring to Kal-L. Usually, a black ring just pops out of nowhere.

Here's my review of the issue:

I liked this issue and I think so far, this is better than some of the BN mini's.

So far I am liking this BN Mini more that most of the others. Then again I am more partial to the JSA than most of the others. Well except for Barry Allen, but the BN Flash books isn't as good as it maybe should be.

I did like how damage did that to them I mean for a moment you really believe he was in control of himself then Mr. Terrific explains it all and you go "Damage you filithy Black Lantern Bastard...Good Job!"
