It looks like I'll have a new Hal, a new John, and another Hal statue before 2015 ends. I'm going to need another Detolf soon.

Oh shit...this is like that line of Star Wars figures where they blow up the mold to 12" and put them on a retro blistercard?

I am SO in for this. Superpowers Hal? I'm going to have him, Barry and Ollie if they make them.

Just saw this the other day. Looks pretty cool I wonder if it is a statue or a bank? I hope it's a bank.

I want that! Man, it's been a while since I've seen GL merch I wanted to buy.

I tweeted Diamond Select and they verified it was a vinyl bank and would retail for between $20-25.

When you think about it, how did it take this long for a power battery bank to get done? Why didn't anyone think of this before?

I did. I wanted them to do a Sinestro Corps,Van Sciver Style battery bank. I love that desgien. I wish all the corps batteries would have looked unique

Thanks for confirming that it is a bank Mrumsey, good looking out. I think I will buy 2 of them, one to use and one to keep nice and new.

I agree about making them unique. If you're going to have 9 different lanterns you should at least not be lazy about it; a different design for each one would have been nice. Unfortunately from a production POV, the temptation to use the same molds over and over again for figures and props saved DCD/C a lot of money.

WOW! Wonder when I'll be able to pre-order it? That'll be perfect for my great-nephew to go with his light-up GL ring and mask.

Would you be referring to this design?

I found that on eBay a few years ago. Only one of its kind, as far as I know. Although this design came from Van Sciver's sketchbook and was never seen in the comics, it HAS been used by Mattel as an accessory for some of their Sinestro action figures:

It's one of the centerpieces of my collection!

That Yellow Lantern is pretty darn cool! I may have sprung for it if DC Direct/Collectibles used that design.

When they started developing the rainbow brigade, some of the lanterns WERE different, like that Sinestro one. I think DC quickly changed course when they saw it was more economically feasible to just use the Hal battery sculpts over and over again. Too bad, an indigo staff is much cooler of an idea than Hal's battery...painted indigo.

The only one that seems to have escaped with a unique sculpt is the red lantern battery prop, right?

I made one for my Indigo Lantern John Stewart cosplay that lights up too. It is too bad that DC Direct never made one.

Yep. The Sinestro battery's uniqueness ends with the different shaped handle. It's too bad that those things never go on clearance. Even at the toy shows, vendors never lower the price on any of them.

That's pretty cool.I really wish they would have made a Mattel style one though. That thing just looks so wicked.

I'm still waiting on a official release date for these two:

^ We'll get the Sideshow one, but I'm still not convinced that the alloy one will actually materialize. That's really a shame.

I like the look of the DC Direct deluxe figure better.

The alloy figure, if it's ever released, will probably be out of my price range.

I want that Sideshow figure. It's what I want a movie GL to look like.

I don't think the Alloy GL figure will ever been released because of the poor sales for
Superman.

I do like the Sideshow GL figure. It looks cool. I've been eyeing the Harley Quinn Sideshow figure and pre-ordered the Deadpool one.

It's hard enough to get them to make something like the Riddler's Cane! Sadly, they just don't seem to be interested in making large prop replicas like that.

That's why you HAVE to Pre-Order them from www.dcbservice.com WHEN THEY'RE SOLICITED! DC Direct/DC Collectibles prop replicas are typically 32% off of MSRP when pre-ordered through them!

So, watch PREVIEWS every month, and IF DCC re-solicits the current version, PRE-ORDER IT FROM DCBS! How else do you think I was able to afford the original JLA Trophy Room Sinestro Corps Power Battery and the Green Lantern Movie Power Battery?

I have both that one AND the ORIGINAL DC Direct 1:6 scale/13" figure of Hal Jordan, in his classic "Bronze Age" GL Corps uniform! I'm sticking with those as well.

I really wish DC Direct/DC Collectibles had kept making those large scale figures. They were doing a pretty good job with them.
