Default Has anyone ever repainted a DCD Power Battery?

Recently got a Alan Scott battery for a awesome price, but the paint job sucks, badly. Has anyone ever taken one apart and repainted it with perhaps a better paint? looking for a 'how to' if possible.

a great way to do it is by using spray paints to get a uniform and clean paint job.

My Alan Scott battery has the same issue; the paint is chipping off all over the place. Because it's an expensive piece, I'm reluctant on doing something about it from fear of making it worse or even ruining it.

That said, if money wasn't an issue, I'd sandblast it to clean it off before repainting it.

That's what I'd do. Blast it clean and start fresh.

To protect the lens cover it with silly putty....its a great protector that can be removed easily and can ensure complete coverage.
