That IS an awesome cover!

I haven't been following Supergirl. Is this a team up just happening in her title? What a great group!

Sorta-kinda teamup. Someone's targeting young heroes by using citizens mobile apps to locate them. Supergirl and Robin have to go El Paso to help Blue Beetle and solicitations reveal they might be getting up with Impulse(II) and a few others.

WARNING...Amy Reeder does NOT do the interior artwork for this arc.

I don't like Supes' face and head. And the sleeves are too long

I want back Igle... and Gates
I hate DC Comics... WHY change fantasic team (and where are they now!?).
Supergirl had become a prostitute series, changing 2 writer in few moths and now another artist

Well they planned on Spencer but didn't like his story, and he eventually went exclusive for Marvel. So in the summer(Yes that far from now) we get an arc from Kelley McCormick or whatever her name is and after that I assume we'll get a full time team on the book.

Gates is doing...shit. Hasn't had a book out since Supergirl and is at the very least writing a Flashpoint tie-in. Igle is on Zatanna though so at least he's TRYING to do something.

You are very optimistic
I miss 90's (and before) when creative team stayed for years...

Artist for RETROACTIVE: SUPERMAN – THE ‘80S #1: Sergio Cariello

Two weeks ago, we announced all the artists who will be illustrating all the ‘70s books in this summer’s RETROACTIVE series. Today, we’re going to fast forward one decade and reveal what artists will be joining the creative teams of the previously announced writers behind the ‘80s books. We’ll also be giving you quick first looks at what these titles will be about. As we mentioned before, each of these new 26-page stories will be followed by a classic story from its era by the same writer.

Keep checking back to THE SOURCE today as we reveal details for all of the 1980’s books.

DC RETROACTIVE: SUPERMAN – THE ‘80s #1

Joining acclaimed writer Marv Wolfman will be artist Sergio Cariello to tell an exciting “lost tale” about the Man of Steel that connects directly to Crisis on Infinite Earths.

For this edition of "The Q," where we ask several comic book creators to answer the same question, we asked:

- What is your general reaction to the announcement by Superman that he wants to renounce his U.S. citizenship -- and do you think today's news about Osama Bin Laden's death affects whether or not it fits the current culture?

Peter David: I think that Superman felt so badly about the negative response to the announcement about his citizenship that he hunted down bin Laden and put a bullet in his head personally. No gun. He just shoved the bullet right in there by hand.

I just picked up and finished the back up story "Life Support" In Action Comics #900

I have to say, I have almost never read a stoy that was so emotionally deep and moving with such little dialogue, bravo to the team that did that!

Lemire talks SUPERBOY

in June, Superboy #8 begins what the writer is calling a "big, spanning epic" that will be his longest storyline yet.

One thing to note is that Lemire would not talk about what happens with Superboy beyond August. In fact, no creators at DC are yet revealing anything that occurs beyond August, which is the month when Flashpoint ends.

Lemire is writing Flashpoint: Frankenstein and the Creatures of the Unknown, one of the three-issue mini-series that will tie-in to Flashpoint beginning in June. But beyond the end of August, all Lemire will confirm is that he's writing something for DC.

To find out more about what's coming in Superboy, we talked to the Eisner nominee before this week's issue comes out.

The current rumor, in the wake of the big company-wide shakeup, is Grant Morrison.

Sadly that article has already been proven wrong on a couple of creative teams it reported...still hoping for Morrison on supes though.

Saw this debate over on the CBR boards, decided to steal it. Grant Morrison vs. Alan Moore, who's the better Superman writer?
