3 issues in and I am really shocked by how awful this series is. Great job on the art, but otherwise the dialogue is terrible, there is little to no plot, and it seems completely fractured. So far any interesting action has taking place off panel in lieu of having a bunch of random heroes stand around spewing crappy soap opera-like dialogue about "justice". I'm ready to bail.

The plot is rather lacking. The cast isn't the greatest either. We don't need a monkey and the blue Starman near anything getting pegged as a second League. The art is amazing, hopefully this will lead to Cascioli landing more gigs at DC.

Glad I bailed on this after issue number 2.

Number three doesn't sound any better from what you guys are saying.

That'll be about the only good thing coming out of this series. I actually Congrilla and hope he'll get some more screen time in DCU, but I'm easily please by wise and world-weary talking apes.

The only thing that I enjoyed about three was Ollie's line about the Wisdom of Solomon or the Hormones of a Teenager, I chuckled a little at that.

This looks just plain awful.

Edit: I mean the story, though I don't really care for the art style either.

I flipped through this, and put it back. Screw this series, huge let-down considering all the hype and anticipation.

And to think that at one time we were complaining that this was changed from ongoing to mini.

Yeah, except I'm not going to stick around with this series like you did. Hell, I'm not even going to waste time on a trade unless this thing does a complete 180 and becomes awesome.

And I seriously fear for JLA once Robinson takes over.

It really is a shame actually. I love lesser known characters, and of course Hal. I was looking forward to seeing what happened with Starman and Congo Bill, and I figured it might be cool to see the new Captain Marvel in action. This book had a TON of potential, a pro-active team out there kicking ass. But it's failed on all accounts so far minus the art, which I love.

yeah congo bill I havent read a single thing on him in prob over 20 years. and I too like the art. I just think its a "sloppy" comic, and didnt grab my interest whats so ever.

and I'm a huge JLA fan.

hoping the new title will be alot better and I think its gonna be

I'll be passing on anything by Robinson in the future.

Too many good writers out there to waste my money on him anymore.
