Last year there was a pretty long queue lined up on Saturday about 90 minutes before the doors opened. The lines automatically filled up for Geoff Johns, Alex Ross, etc, but Ethan was pretty accessible at times.

It was the same way at the WonderCon. On Sunday, he was just walking around by himself once his obligations were finished. When he came back to his booth, nobody was there so he signed all of my Flash Rebirth books and I got another photo with him. His wife was really nice too.

Bring cash!!! The ATM machines at the convention center are going to bend you over on convenience charges.

Bring enough to pick me up a white lantern Hal Jordan from graffiti

All joking aside bring plenty of cash because the smaller booths usually only accept cash, plus they also tend to knock off a few bucks when paying in cash as well. But the larger booths (usually bigger "chain" type stores) accept credit and debit

Depends. Exclusives and gear alone are easily $100. I usually don't carry cash, I just bum it off Sylent. LOL. Thanks Sylent! Some vendors do accept credit cards but you're better off with cash. It gives some leverage when haggling.

Yeah, if you have cash, the smaller dealers will tend to knock off a few dollars here and there just to move their merchandise. What I like to do is look at a price tag and adjust my wallet accordingly. When I reach for the cash, I'm $5-10 short (depending on the price) and more often than not, they'll let me have it. My tip for the day!.. and that's *ding* One to grow on.

Don't forget to mention that on the final days of the convention, vendors also tend to cut their prices. However, you risk losing out on various merchandise, like when I missed out on souvenir t-shirts.

Like I said in the [WTB] Sinestro thread, smaller vendors are willing to make deals to move stuff, moreso on the last day. Big vendors (online shops or ol' brick and mortor shops) tend to stick with their original asking price because they can and will move stuff after the con. You need to pick your spots, con shirts will not be knocked down in price due to limited quantity. Toys really depend on the vendor. And when dealing with a smaller vendor use Sylent's trick it WILL work and work well mind you.

Yes. There are tons of them for sale. You can haggle also, especially if you are buying multiples.

Bring at least $200 in cash. Also bring a large backpack for the merchandise you buy and a poster container to protect your prints that you buy. Also, bring some snacks and water because typically, the cafe at these Conventions charge movie theather prices for their food and beverages.

Yeah, start off early with a good breakfast and pack a Togo's sandwich and a bottled water to avoid the endless lines and extreme prices at the food vendors.

My last tip is to get there before the show opens and line up early so you can get in and browse before it gets too crowded. Oh! Bring a camera to take plenty of pics and share with the board.

Absolutely! Togo's puts MEAT in their sandwiches. Subway makes lettuce and tomato sandwiches. That's partially why Jared lost all that weight.

No prob! The key to any convention is preparation. Let us know if you have any questions.
