Default Posing figures in flight?

I'm having a tough time with this Micheal Turner corrupted Supergirl, my regular Turner Supergirl is on her way, but apparently she's top heavy because I can't get her to stand on her base. I've tried every pose I can conceive of and a few my wife conceived of. So I'm thinking of trying to rig up a stand where it looks like she's flying. hopefully the stand will be centered enough to keep the figure standing upright. If not, liberal use of clear tape or a screw gun might be called for.

Does anyone know where I might find stands like this? Or even an alternative stand to keep this figure up right.

A lot of you guys have been collecting and displaying these figures longer than me, so any tried and true advice is much welcomed.

Maybe Sylent could help you out. I know he like posing his figures and had problems having his figures stand up. Some on these boards recommended he use some type of sticky tape.

I tried taping the base to the display, but her knees seem to give way about once a week.

I'm sure Matty sells stands, but they're for smaller, lighter figures like their DCAU's.

The DC Direct figures are a bit on the heavy side and could cause the stands to topple. To prevent that, you could use an adhesive on the base and pose the figure in a hovering position.

Will those accommodate 6.75 inch figures? Weight's probably not an issue, since like you said, I can fix the stand to the display.

Do you have a link to those stands? I'm on Matty now, and I can't seem to find them and am not entirely sure where to look.

They are 6" Flight Stands. Not sure if they'll properly accommodate the larger DCD figures though.

Pose your figures in battle-ready flying stance with official MattyCollector.com flight stands! Created just for your 6" Mattel figures, pack comes with three stand sets, each with base and waist clamp. Two sets include standard-size waist clamps, and one set has three interchangeable waist clamps to display 6" figures of varying widths (females, males, Masters of the UniverseŽ figures, DCU figures, etc.).
For purchase, you can try this link:

I've been meaning to get some, but they're kind of pricey.

It sure is. I think the guy that customized that has an account on this forum. I could have sworn that I saw it here somewhere.

Google collecting warehouse and check out their Kaiser doll stands. That might help you out also.

I believe it's $12 for a set of 3. I could be wrong. When I saw $12, that was all I need to see to hit the "X" in the corner.

Those kind of stands aren't cheap. The stands I bought for my 12in GB figured were 4$ a pop

I use the larger scale ones for my Ghostbusters 12in figures

They have held up great so far. Before, my figures would keep tipping back, or in Egon's case forwards. But they hold still now.

The 1st one I bought for Peter was too big, and I got a pic of him that looked like he was flying, but I cant find it anymore. needless to say, it did hold his weight.

They might have something kinda similar to them, but it would be them. They the best stands I've used, hands down. They have newer ones that have flexible rods so you can get all dynamic with them.
