I feel fairly certain they explained it this way in the comics at one point.

Ok, Perlman as Slade does sound really good, I hope he does something similar.

Interesting... I just assumed that the ring operated under the same principle as Star Trek's Universal translator; you keep the same natural vocal octive, but everything is translated. Funny thing is, even though the aliens are speaking in their own language, their lips move in English. You would think their lips would continue to move with their alien pronounciations, but English comes out, kind of like the bad dubs of an old Bruce Lee movie.

And yet here you are, yet again, getting FAR more "bent out of shape" than any of those addressing the "trivial little crap" directly.

Well, bi-monthly is better than nothing, I suppose. I do hope the "further changes" aren't something that will result in higher cover prices, though. I have this bad feeling that somebody at DC will think it is a good idea to combine different titles into one book, giving less pages to each, and raising the cover price. Given that GL:TAS is the only of these titles I'm really interested in, getting less pages for more money would be kind of a deal breaker... and that would be a real shame.

I don’t see why, unless the editors of DC wanted to get rid of the certain titles quickly? Sounds like a pretty dumb sales decision if you ask me.

Looks like Sinestro tried to kill Razer in the last pic.

Yes. Dee Bradley Baker was confirmed as Larfleeze about a week ago.

I like your theroy better, I wanna see more aliens that sound like the Gorn

I am excited about Sinestro. I wish they would have gotten someone else to voice Sinestro though. Pearlman and Clancy Brown's voices are just so over used in cartoons.

Dee Bradley Baker is a fine choice for Larfleeze; he's great at doing "monster" voices.

As for the comic going bimonthly...bad news. It'll be canceled by the end of the year.

I'm honestly surprised they just didn't cancel it already. But, the best thing to do (and what will happen) is they'll just cancel it when the show ends. Which like you mentioned, will probably be by the end of the year anyway. Maybe going bi monthly helps them prepare for any bullshit CN pulls in the future.

Oh, I agree that it would be dumb. Unfortunately "It would be dumb" hasn't been a great predictor of what people will not do in the past, IMHO.

Better than, "I wouldn't like it" but not by a HUGE margin.

Bi Monthly is a good way to keep it on stands. Its never going to bring in money so why not limit the loss of money? That's all they're doing here. Would you rather have it outright canceled like Superman Family Adventure?

It sucks that an action figure line was never produced for this show. They could make so many cool figures from the storylines thus far. All we ended up getting were some bad McDonalds happy meal toys.

Nope. That's why I said bi-monthly was better than nothing.
