I think he HAS picked up on that, since he dosed her with "magic tears" at the end of the last episode. No reason to do that if he wasn't already sensing that her devotion was wavering.

Why did Iris wear a bath rope to visit Barry in prison?

Kind of weird that Devoe's wife didn't say "that's not my husband! It's an impostor" at the court hearing. But whatever.

I like Caitlin as Killer Frost. It was cool in that cross-over event that Heat Wave/Mick was trying to goad Caitlin into Killer Frost.

Well, that would be a statement that might take some explaining, as to why she was so certain that was the case. Really, the only way she would know IMMEDIATELY that he was an imposter would be if she had first-hand knowledge of what actually happened. If she had nothing to do with the situation, and a guy who looks and sounds like her husband comes in and tells a story about being nabbed by somebody planning to frame Barry for his murder, a vehement denial of that, right out of the gate, would sound pretty suspicious.

That said, since Ralph obviously isn't going to be able to keep up the charade for any length of time (and if he TRIED, the wife would obviously have an opportunity to trip him up significantly), when "Devoe" disappears right after returning, THAT is going to look pretty suspicious to law enforcement, I'd think. But I imagine that aspect is going to be glossed over.

Still, I'm just glad to have that aspect behind us. The whole trial was a farce, leading to Barry being convicted WAAAAAY to easily, so I'm kind of fine with him being exonerated too easily, too, as long as it means we won't have to see the inside of such a poorly portrayed trial setting any time soon.

I got the impression that "Killer Frost" was the name of one of the coffee drinks there, and that's what she was talking about. (Though I'd think even the coincidence might at least make somebody flinch.)

am watching the S5 premiere and its been pretty "meh" so far, but I will admit that I got rather happy when "teh Ring" showed up......

right now, I still trying to figure out how she couldknow about LL if shes NOT from the 31st century, but I'll let that slide for ow since Im still in geek-out mode.

I'm thinking the rift between Nora and Iris is caused by Iris being obsessed with trying to bring back Barry from the Crisis and neglecting Nora, like the MCU's Hank Pym with Hope Van Dyne.

Of course the newspaper headline of The Flash is missing 25 years after the Crisis event causes fanboys to think of Crisis on Infinite Earths.

I'm not sure why the show added Cecille in the first place. And now a baby? Typically when a TV series adds a baby to the show, it's a sign they're running out of ideas on how to keep the show fresh.

You can call Chris Klein, Nova... as in Casanova. At least his villain isn't something where Barry keeps saying, "I'm not fast enough..." We had three seasons of Barry being not fast enough.

That's one of the reasons I like Nora. This season is more about Nora's deficiencies than Barry's. And I like how the show does the juxtaposition of Barry being the Eobard Harry Wells and Nora being season one Barry.

The Flash museum is not impressive as I thought it would be.

Anyone notice that Joe is, well... not right? In all of his scenes, he's sedentary and seems to appear more aged than normal. There was even a scene where I noticed that his hands were shaking. All throughout his ordeal with Cicada, he never stood up once and circumstances constantly dictate that he stay seated. I hope he's okay in real life.

So far this season has been meh at best. But I think it's more to do with Nora dealing with mommy issues more than anything else. Every time a show starts a character down the track of dealing with mommy or daddy issues, it usually means they don't know what else to do with a given character. I fully expect the next 3 episodes to be more of the same before it starts getting good. It's generally been that way for the last 2 seasons, Episode 7 has been where the seasons really start picking up and getting into the meat of the real story for the season.

I'll co-sign the part about this season being pretty "meh" so far, and unfortunately Im not enjoying the new Wells-alt we've been given as well. plus, the "Flash Museum" was....uninspired.....IMNSHO, and conflict resolution involving that last pseudo-Meta (the 1 w/the smartfone imbued w/DM) was more contrived than usual, which says ALOT.

if Im to be honest it was rather "meh" to me, and that's NOT INCLUDING the disappointment to notice that BL was *not* included this time.......but I'll admit to a good deal fanboy-joy when seeing 90s Flash from "Earth 90".

but, ya know, that beggars a Q: I know this show isn't TOO strict about its continuity, but IIRC that's *not* a part of the tv-52......right??
