Default FIVE exclusive Hal Jordan figs coming!

DCC 09: Blackest Night Invades Comic-Con

http://comics.ign.com/articles/994/994259p1.html

DC Direct reveals exclusive figure set for blockbuster summer storyline.
by Richard George

June 12, 2009 - Green Lantern fans listen up - DC is going to be offering a very limited item this July at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con. For the first time, fans will be able to collect Hal Jordan not only as a Green Lantern, but as a member of the Red, Orange, Blue and Yellow Corps as well. Interested? We thought you might be. Read on for the details, including which colors will be available on which days.

The most important details are these: you can only get these items during the San Diego Comic-Con and supplies are extremely limited. Fans will be able to line up at the Graphitti Designs booth (#2315) for these rare collectibles starting on Wednesday, July 22. But here's the catch - you'll have to visit the booth each and every day for the latest color. Each customer can only buy 2 of each figure.

Here's the breakdown of availability:

Wednesday (Preview Night) - July 22 - 6:00 pm Hal Jordan: Green Lantern - 3,000 pieces available

Thursday, July 23 - 10:00 am
Hal Jordan: Yellow Lantern - 1,500 pieces available

Friday, July 24 - 10:00 am
Hal Jordan: Blue Lantern - 1,500 pieces available

Saturday, July 25 - 10:00 am
Hal Jordan: Orange Lantern - 1,500 pieces available

Sunday, July 26 - 10:00 am
Hal Jordan: Red Lantern - 1,500 pieces available

Each figure comes with its own lantern and a wearable power ring customized to each Corps. Each figure is available starting its respective day, and will continue to be on sale until it is sold out. As of press time, pricing information was unavailable. Each figure comes in its own four-color box. Be sure to check out the photos in this article for a better glimpse of each Hal Jordan figure.

Happy hunting, Green Lantern fans. And enjoy your convention travels.

The 2009 San Diego Comic-Con takes place from Wednesday, July 22 through Sunday, July 26. Stay tuned to IGN.com during that time for all the latest information from the show including movies, television and, of course, comics.

You've gotta be shitting me? Only available at SDCC. Fuck that. I'd rather have those shitty one size fits all plactic free rings of all the color corps. What figure is it even going to be? A new sculpt?

They look great. Why wouldn't they announce the price though?

other than the red lantern (off in the left background there) all the lanterns are the same. Was kinda hoping each lantern would be a duplicate of the appropriate power battery.

I like them, I really do but I hate it when DC do exclusives for conventions as I know I will not be able to get any of these figures as I live in the UK so I think I better just ignore I saw these figures.

Least we know that Hal becomes an orange lantern for a moment as I wouldnt see them making the figure otherwise.

Because they could maximize more off of an Orange Lantern Hal Jordan than a Indigo Lantern Hal Jordan, maybe?

but you're probably right...unfortunately.

Yea, the five plastic rings have me more interested than the figures. And what's up with Sinestro Hal? He never wore that uniform....

Maybe so, but I'm not willing to pay what I'm sure they'll be asking.

Guess we'll be checking ebay for these in the near future. I would love that Blue one. The yellow one is interesting since even when Hal was using the Sinestro Corps rings, he didn't wear their uniform, he still had on the green.

At least since all the Hal repaints are SDCC exclusive, we know they won't be clogging up the waves of the Blackest Night line...

I will pay what they ask. However do they come in packages? How much do you think they will be at the SDCC?

They're probably on Ebay right now -- or will be soon -- as a pre-buy. The GL Origins exclusive and DCUC Wonder Twins exclusive have already been up for a month now.

These are way more limited than those, so they'll probably go for even more. Sucky. I'm already probably going to end up paying someone $50 plus shipping for my GL Origins pack...
