Default Andrea's Wheel Of Time Wallpapers

As I have posted before there will soon be a series of comics coming out based on the Wheel Of Time novels. One of the artists for this series of books has done in the past a series of Character Portraits from the novels that he posted on his blog. I have taken those images and created a series of wallpapers I hope you enjoy.
His blog is located here http://www.seamassketches.blogspot.com/

Men Of The Shadow

Women Of The Shadow (note because of some minor nudity these are links not thumbnails)

Thanks, I kinda had a slide show effect in mind with each series. So as you progress the center image changes while the smaller ones stay the same There are plenty more characters he hasn't used yet. By the time you have read book 11 of the series you have been introduced to over 800 characters who have at least one paragraph of dialog.

As I find other good wallpapers from the series I'll post them here. There are tons of them but i'll limit the ones I post to what I consider the very best

Those are very nice art! Thanks a lot for posting =D

The artwork reminds me a lot of the CrossGen series, especially that red/yellow Ying-Yang symbol. I've heard of the Wheel of Time series but never had the chance to read it.

I read the first six books in this series and enjoyed them. It's cool to see how other people see the characters. These are very cool. Thanks for sharing D_A.

Thanks I love fantasy art in general but the stuff that has been done for Wheel Of Time just draws me. I guess it's cause I know the story so well. If you guys have any questions or anything or want to get into the books and want spoilers or someone to answer questions that might come up please feel free to ask. Won't say I know everything but I know Almost everything about the series.

It sucks cause this thread made me look into the the series again and I found out that Robert Jordan died while working on what I think was the last book. Very sad. I need to finish reading these books.

Don't let your heart be troubled. His widow hand picked someone to finish the last book based on Jordan's notes, what parts of the book he finished before he died, and audio dictations he left behind of what was supposed to happen to whom when.
I posted alot of that info here http://www.thegreenlanterncorps.com/...ead.php?t=3742

Yeah, I read that when I found out about his death. Although I didn't know it was his wife that hand picked the author.

Brandon Sanderson is a HUGE Wheel fan to begin with, and was knocked on his ass from what I have read that Harriet asked him to finish Jordan's masterpiece. I haven't read his books myself yet I have a couple but haven't had the time. but all the reviews I have read indicate she couldn't have picked better. Jordan's Wife Harriet will also be editing this final book as she has with every other novel her husband wrote and that process is ongoing now. His blog says he is currently at 68% finished writing the first draft which equals out to 272000 words so far. We're expecting A Memory Of Light to be around 500k words when finished based on the projections. That's almost double the size of Book 11 Knife Of Dreams.

This is a length comparison chart that Sanderson has in his blog

AMOL Relative Length Chart: 11/05/08

Alcatraz/Evil Librarians 60,400
New Spring 121,815
Elantris 202,765
The Final Empire 214,752
The Path of Daggers 226,687
Warbreaker 236,301
Winter's Heart 238,789
Hero of Ages 244,201
The Dragon Reborn 251,392
The Well of Ascension 252,739
The Great Hunt 267,078
Crossroads of Twilight 271,632
---A MEMORY OF LIGHT 272k So Far!---
A Crown of Swords 295,028
The Eye of the World 305,902
Knife of Dreams 315,163
The Fires of Heaven 354,109
Lord of Chaos 389,264
The Shadow Rising 393,823

Ashaman: Male Channelers of the One Power useing the tainted Saidin

More fan work

The Ways (once a bright beautiful place which gave the ability to travel from one side of the continent to the other in days instead of months now dark tainted and haunted by a wind that eats souls)

Another Digital rendering of the Heart of The Stone of Tear.

Not a problem hun, I try my best to please though it took me a week to find a quote I thought worked with the pic. And given how Rand looks like he has been though hell and back in it I thought that quote worked the best. The prayer of Hope and the plea for salvation, and the man who is to bring it showing the cost of that salvation.
