I was finally able to get a good workable copy of the old version. I just don't like using the current 'face-on' one. So, I am gong to post a few I have been working on as I lost many due to a hard drive crash. (My backup did not work)These have been tweaked from perfect canon, but I like them. I hope you like them too.

yeah, fabrica-de-herois revamped their website and reposted their DCAU style hero fabricator. I've been using it myself a lot lately.

Been awhile since I tinkered around with this thing, but after seeing the upcoming Blackest Night action figures, I was inspired to play around with it some more!

Here's The Flash (Barry Allen) as a Blue Lantern!

Wanted to do Wonder Woman as a Star Sapphire, but that one's a bit tougher. They don't have the necessary Big Ass Collar™ for female costumes, and I couldn't come up with a satisfactory star logo for the belt buckle.

EDIT: Wow. I created this one on my laptop, and it looked good on there. But looking at it on my desktop, it looks HORRIBLE!

It's very pixelated, for one thing. And the shade of blue I picked makes it look even worse. Guess I'll have to redo it on the desktop. Too bad I don't have the old version of Hero Factory saved on the desktop already, or I'd do it RIGHT NOW. I'll have to put a copy on here and then redo him. It'll be Tuesday or Wednesday before I get around to remaking him.

So, I took the original bitmap from my screen capture, and resized and resampled it. Here's the new version, I'll check tonight to see if it looks any better.

I think it looks great. The only thing I would change, would be the jaw line. I think you have to much skin showing.

Blame the idiot that programmed the thing! It was his choice to put in every other part of the Flash's costume EXCEPT the correct MASK!

Well, okay, he forgot the boots with the little wings on the side, too, if you want to get REALLY nit-picky.

Okay, so here was my direct inspiration for making the Blue Lantern Flash... pictures of DC Direct's upcoming figure of Barry Allen as a Blue Lantern...

Look closely at the design of his mask/cowl. That's what I was trying to replicate, complete with the signature "points" under the eyes. The mask/cowl I created was as close to that as I could possibly get it. And you'll notice quite a lot of his jaw is exposed on the figure, too.

How do you take your created hero from HeroMachine 2.5 and put them on here?

Ctrl+Print copies the screen to your clipboard. You can then paste that image to paint, crop it and save it as a bmp or jpeg. I suggest bitmaps, because that way you can change the colors later on if you want to.

Next step, head over to www.imageshack.us and upload your image by following the steps on that page. Copy the direct link to the image, that should be the second link from the top.

When posting, click on the little button with the mountain.

Paste the link, click OK and post away.
