I have no clue why you think WE got them first! We're ALWAYS the last to get ANY of the hot new toys!

That being said... the street date on the figures for The Dark Knight, Indiana Jones, and The Incredible Hulk was around 5/1/08 for ALL 3 lines! How do I know this? Because I walked into a Wal*Mart a week or 2 BEFORE the first, and saw cases of figures and toys from ALL 3 MOVIES sitting on a pallet one night, all clearly marked as "DO NOT SELL BEFORE 5/1/08". Of course, some Wally World employees IGNORED that labeling (even though it's big as life and plain as day! ) and put the figures and toys out early.

not yet mattel can get out the batman line really fast with a street date, but dcuc will have no shelf date and just start showing up.... sucks.

at least with wal mart picking wave 3 up there won't be any peg warmers from prior waves there.... where as target will probably start recieve wave 2 again... and not put them out because one lone batman will be there begging for a new home.

At our Walmart, they have 6 pegs of Dark Knight toys and those are the ONLY dc related toys on their shelves. the rest is Marvel, Left over Spiderman 3 items, Power Rangers, GI Joe, Star Wars, Transformers, And wresteling figures.

muuuuuuust haaaaaave DCUC Waaaaave threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.............

damn they look better then the promo pics we saw way back when, they need to get these out the next Marvel Legends wave is not out until September so if these come out early July that means no real compatition until September!!!!!!!!!!

must also have the variant and I am scared about how much I might end up paying for that little fucker......

I read a Q&A with Mattel that the varient is now going to be a 50/50 split like they did with Superman Red and Blue in wave 2. So he should be a little easier to get now.

Thumbs down No Wave 3 yet, damn it!

Well, last night, I was at the Wal*Mart at Arundel Mills here in MD. I got VERY excited when I saw 2 cases of DCUC figures on the pallet! I thought "tonight must be my lucky night! Wave 3 is here and I get first crack at it! Hal and Sinestro will be MINE! "

Alas, it was too good to be true. Last night, they got in 3 cases... of Wave 2 restock. And they didn't have any of the rare chase figures in any of the 3 cases! No long-haired Aquaman, no modern (red-faced) Firestorm. It was a total bust, and I was FURIOUS! I WANT MY HAL F'ING JORDAN AND MY SINESTRO CORPS SINESTRO, DAMN IT!!!

So, has ANYONE found Wave 3 at retail yet, or at least got a reliable date of when these will hit stores?!?

they have not hit the stores yet wave 3 is coming out at the end of the month. they started getting dcuc wave 2 in order to start having peg space I guess but here is the official answer from ask mattel at thefwoosh.com
Quote:

Can you PLEASE comment on the uneven distribution situation at the retail level concerning DCUC and what you are actively doing to remedy it? Why are licensed movie lines like Kung-Fu Panda and Speed Racer getting more retail space and consistent distribution than the more collector-friendly lines such as DC Universe Classics and The Dark Knight Movie Masters?- can you address any of these issues and give us an update on the following:
a) The expected arrival of more wave 2
b) The fate of the modern Jason Firestorm assortment
c) The expected arrival of wave

We recently changed production vendors in an attempt to improve the quality of our product. Because of this, Wave 3 should be out in late July. After that, the second half of Wave 2 will hit selves (with Jason as Firestorm). From there we should be back on track with Wave 4, The Wal Mart Wave 5 and Wave 6 (to be revealed at SDCC) all hitting shelves before 2008 is over.

If Wally-mart does in fact start selling dcuc fig's I hope they have more of a selection than Target. I snagged a Haley Quinn at Target as they were being stocked and went back the following week to get the rest and they were all gone.
They have tons of the Marvel line, I don't get it...

I went back to the same Target this morning and they had put them out. I got Guy, Zoom, Captain Marvel, Adam Strange. For the size and price these are nice little figures. I can see a big collection starting here.
