Such an odd decision though. Could it be that bad that you'd trust in what you could come up with in six months, over what's already established?

BleedingCool FF Update

Screen Crush cites high level Fox sources denying this story. However we remain confident in our source. Bleeding Cool suggests that if Fox really would like to stomp on the rumour, they stop approaching folk to replace the director.

They did the FF movie in 1994 that was never released just to keep the rights. No matter how bad the screenplay is, or the cast or the director, they'll just cut the budget and make a really cheap one.

Marc Webb Discusses Amazing Spider-Man 2, Sinister Six & Not Directing 4th Installment (Spoilers)

Quote:
Do you want to see more cross-pollination between Spidey and the other characters in the Marvel universe, like The Avengers?

We’re building out a more complicated Spider-Man universe with characters that people haven’t seen in other Spider-Man movies—The Sinister Six, Venom, and more. We’d all love to overlap with other studios, but it’s beyond my pay grade.

And you’re signed on to direct the third Amazing Spider-Man as well. Will that be it for you?

I’d like to be involved as a consultant, and I’ve already talked to these guys about it, but in terms of directing it, that will close out my tenure. I’ve had so much fun doing it, but after the third movie, it’ll be the time to find something else.

So they have a clear distinction now between the X-Men movies following First Class, and the Wolverine movies following X-Men 3? That would make Apocalypse the first X-Movie without Jackman. Interesting.

HULK #1
This April, the Jade Giant returns for an all-new ongoing series from Eisner Award winning writer Mark Waid and critically acclaimed artist Mark Bagley! Now is the perfect chance to jump on board as the epic “Banner D.O.A” begins in HULK #1!

Following the shocking ending of Indestructible Hulk – Bruce Banner lay at inches from death. As he clings to life, the mystery of his attacker will have everyone talking. Who shot Bruce Banner? And why did they want him dead?

“As our series opens, Banner's at death's door”, says Waid. “…having learned something about himself that cuts him to the quick and calls into question everything he's been doing for what he believes is the public good. And things don't improve for him from there.”

“You'll see Bruce Banner in a whole new light,” Waid continued.

Did his unknown attacker want Banner dead? Or the Hulk? One thing is for certain – if he survives, it won’t be as the same Bruce Banner we’ve known! And as the mystery deepens, everything you thought you knew about the Hulk will change!

How will the Green Goliath solve the mystery of his enigmatic attacker? How can he? Don’t miss a single moment as the explosive new series kicks off with a gamma bomb sized revelation this April in HULK #1!

Not a physical death I mean, but the mutilation/murder of his brain.

This is what, the third time he's been brain-zapped, at least? It's like a recurring bad dream.

I've got no great love for Cap, but shit, frying his brain on magic-drugs is getting old fast.

Say what you will about the status of the character, but at least Moon Knight is a character with style. The Incredible Hulk, not so much. Besides, it isn't as if Opena stuck around for the entirety of the run...

IDK if I'm in the minority here, but EVERYTHING I've seen as far as casting and info on the film has sucked balls. I'd rather take a gamble on something produced a lot quicker with closer ties to source material and a villain that isn't Doom.

Ya know what this reminds me of? A director mostly attached to lower budget productions who gets a ridiculous amount of money to produce something out of their league.... Green Hornet. It'd be better for everyone involved if Disney got the rights that way we could see the one VS movie everyone wants to see in film [at least I do] Hulk VS the Thing. The Leader could be the badguy, the rest of the F4 could be taken prisoner early on forcing Thing to find Banner for help resulting in the coolest battle/rivalry in Marvel history on film.

Pretty awesome concept art in Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe. I mean Hulk and Iron was pretty sweet, and the Scarlet Witch looks cool and Quick Silver is so much better than Fox's Days of Future Past Quick Silver.

I am totally geeked for Captain America: Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Kevin Smith backed down on Green Hornet though.
