I would but I'm not that good at customizing to make him look as awesome as he should.

You'll notice that both the saw and the big sword have grips and holes on them that seem to correspond nicely to where the MM figs left hands fall. I wonder if they designed these knowing that people would make them work with both lines...
Those are some sweet pics. I did the same to Sinestro's sword, Hals fist, and Abin Sur's mace. It's rediculous how much fun I'm having with my GL stuff right now.

Right? I couldn't really get Hal into too many satisfying poses on his own, but as soon as I got a construct in his hand it was a whole different story. Then I got Tomar and I plan on getting a few more too. Plus I've been buying the 4" ones for the constructs and giving the toys to my kids. If Mattel had designed the lines around this idea I think they would have had a lot more enthusiastic shoppers.

I also got the bow, the mace, and Green Man's gun. I'll post more pics soon.

I don't want to buy the 4" figures just for the constructs. Do we know if this trick will work for that TRU construct set?

I bought Isamot Kol once I found out he came with a bear trap construct. DCD and DCUC figures worked with his construct with no problem.

Anyway I would expect the TRU Ultimate Construct pack to work with DCUC and DCD figures too maybe the adapter will be needed if it does not come with one. The construct helicopter looks to use a lot of the same constructs already available with individual 4" figures.

So, I gave up the notion of only getting a couple of the Movie Masters. Ordered Green Man this afternoon. Added Tomar-Re last week too...I'm so weak...

It will, since the set comes with a Hal figure. You'll either have to cut them open or use the adapter.

From what I can tell the TRU set comes with:
1 shield
1 net
1 Solar Saw
1 other saw
1 Axe (from Battle Axe Hal - not yet out)
1 wrench (!)
2 claws
1 sword (Stel's I think)
1 bazooka

Actually all the constructs from the copter are unique to that set - they have to be to fit together as a helicopter.

http://www.thegreenlanterncorps.com/...postcount=1006

The TRU Ultimate Construct set reuses stuff from the single figures.

Ordered Green Man today, have a G'hu in the mail and ready to grab the first wave once it's out in the UK...it's going to be an expensive summer.

Also picked up a 4inch Sinestro cause he was at the shop and I'm weak.

Even though the 4 in figures have limited articulation. I really liked the Sinestro head sculpt.

If you buy the 4 inch Kilowog or the 4 inch Voz figures they come with a odd looking short energy burst construct thing which is actually a adapter for all the constructs that are part of the 4 inch line. Attach them to the end of the adapter and they will fit on the movie masters as well as the DCD figures and I believe the DCUC figures as well. Some of the figures have small enough hands they don't need the adapters. Star Sapphire and Star Sapphire Wonder Woman for example.

Some people however are cutting splits into the sides of the constructs hand holes so they won't need the adapters, In the long run I think given how weak that plastic is to begin with will lead to them degrading and falling apart in the long run though.

Also with some of the constructs like Sinestro's sword there is a little piece of plastic that you can pop out that once it's out makes the constructs fit like a glove without splitting the sides. I used a xacto knife but anything sharp should work because they're held in there with some kind of glue but it's not hard to to get them out.

I found the adapter to be too bulky for the MM figs - making it harder to hold, harder to pose and stand, and made any place you could grip the left hand too far away. Also, I didn't want to have to buy a Kilowog figure for every MM figure I have or plan to get. So, that's why I chose to cut it open.

But so far I've only had to do that with the Solar Saw and the fist. The bow and Sinestro's big sword have a removable ring inside, and Green Man's gun and Abin Sur's mace were already the right size.

KMart has what I think is wave 3 of the MM figures listed on their site - Gallius Zed, Krona, Maskless Hal. Where's wave 2 (Sinestro & Isamot)?

Bzzd looks like he came straight off a Charlotte Hornets jersey. :P

I assume he comes with the Maskless Hal Jordan figure.
