Didn't see this until today. Friggin' terrible.

You know what? Give me the retcon that says this part of the story never happened. Just give it to me.

There are two horrible things that can happen to a superhero: death, or a bad costume redesign. Of those two, I'd say death is slightly better. At least death will probably only last about a year, maybe a little more if you're unpopular.

Not defending it. Just saying its obviously not going to be around for long. Hell, it may not even show up at all.

Because it's DC's "official/unofficial" future of the DCU.

Well I read JSA pretty faithfully, and this is NOT very good! I'm not saying I haven't had to deal with worse as a JSA fan, but this is one of those things that I know will pass in time and every month is me just killing time until better days come.

I feel this is as bad as ABC carting Dick Clark out every year on New Years. I feel bad for the guy, he had a stroke, and kudos for him for still rockin the eve, but you just cant help but feel depressed (and the soulless bastards will laugh and make fun, but thats not right)

DC: Thank you for making Alan Scott the Dick Clark of the Jsa, instead of recovery you give him a suit that has ridicule written all over it. *facepalm*

Wow, wait to compare a real life situation that is permanent, with something that will only last for maybe a year if that.

He certainly does! I think Green Lantern, Flash and Hawkman all should always be treated with the respect they deserve as the classic heroes they are. There's no reason with all the hindsight available over crappy directions and stories over the decades that things like this should be happening.

I'm not saying that the time is right for Jay or Alan to have their own series or anything, but they should at least be protected from stupid shit.

I would like you all to know that I just wrote a giant and partially angry response to the last two posts but pressed F5 trying to remove a strand of hair from my keyboard. Just know that I am not pleased with your level of reaction.

That is all.

Dr. Mid-nite: "Alan, what happened to you?"

Alan: "I'm a little tea pot short and stout..."
