Never heard of him.
I read the first story arc of Secret Avengers and it wasn't my cup of tea, mostly because I really am not a fan of most of the team members and I didn't think the mission to mars was all that intriguing.

Nick Spencer's Morning Glories is awesome though. I've summarized it as the High School version of Lost where these students from all over are brought to a high school for an unknown purpose. Playing the role of Ben is this eye glasses wearing woman, and the role of Jack falls upon a blonde girl. I can't remember the characters names, but it's worth the read.

I'm mildly interested in this. I don't really like jumping into team books when I don't know the history of the characters(excluding books like Generation Hope & Young X-men where the characters are fairly new). I think I'll picture up the 12.1 issue to get a feel for it.

Spencer's Morning Glories is really really good and his only issue of Supergirl was great as well, and T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents gets great reviews too so he's the big selling point for me. I didn't like the art in Iron Man #500 that gave a sneak peek into his Iron Man 2.0 series so I couldn't get into that. Now with two big Marvel series and his own series going, I'm afraid my options for Spencer's work has now been capped.

That's what I heard too. In fact, when I visited the comic store on Wednesday it was sold out, and there was a dude with his pretty girlfriend looking for a copy. He almost in tears they didn't have a copy for him.

So, I'm liking the new story arc in "The Avengers" title, as all the Avengers are included (Secret, New Avengers, etc.) and Professor X, Namor and Medusa as well. The banning together to prevent the Hood from gathering all the Infinity Gems. In the last issue, I like how Spidey says "Mommy and Daddy are fighting" and how Norr Var could not comprend the humor.

I find it weird that Bendis is portraying Stark and Rogers at each others throats again, since the Avengers Prime mini that wrapped a little while ago was all about Marvels Big 3 becoming friends again. It's even weirder when you realize that Bendis wrote that too...

I think it was always supposed to be a uneasy reuniting.

Thanks.

I read the first two and didn't like it.

If JRJR still on art? I think that's what I didn't like.

Agreed. However, they were becoming friends again, until Steve discovered Tony's role in the Illuminati and the Infinity Gems. Rogers told Tony that he would be kicked off the Avengers once this matter ended.

Yeah, JRJR looks too elementary for me. Like it was done by a grade school kid. Not my cup of tea.

I think Steve telling Tony that he is off the Avengers was a heat of the moment kind of thing. He was angry, and that's what came out.

Perhaps, but Rogers just doesn't trust Tony and that makes Tony dangerous. I like the opposing views of Rogers and Stark.

That's nothing new though, they have been at odds for most of their history.

True. However, I'm happy they're on the same team for now. The Avengers just aren't as good without them on the team. It's like having the JLA without their big three.
