I'm glad someone is excited for them. I saw them a Borders a while back and as much as I love to add little GL related things to my collection, I won't spend $15 on something like that.

That's what a lot of people have said to me too. I'm weird. I like bOBscure artsy things.

Artsy? Is that what they are? Here I thought they were freakish and ugly. Guess I'm not artsy enough!

(It kind of looks like V.I.N.CENT from "The Black Hole", with a bad toupee.)

I got the Hal from my local LCS a while back just as an impulse thing. I like it well enough, want the Sinestro to pair with but am not sold on the whole design. Between these, the Funko, the Mez-Its, Uniformz there is going to be quite a few super deformed GLs around and these lose out.

I might get it when I have extra money but it is low on the want list.

Same here - I tend to be an obsessive collector of anything Green Lantern or Hawkman/Hawkgirl, but that was easy 5-10 years ago when seeing ANY sort of merchandising was almost novel (well, at least from the late 70's to early 90's). Now so much is coming out (and there'll be a REAL flood next year, of course) that I don't even have the space for it.

These weird looking things (Blamoids, Uniformz, Funko, etc.) are the first things to go for me (wasn't a fan of the mini-mates/pocket heroes, either, but admit I had to buy a couple of those due to me afore-mentioned obsessiveness).

I guess I'm old and just don't get it - never wanted some "modern art" version of my heroes; always want them to actually resemble their normal depiction. *shrug*

I'm in the same boat. I have been collecting GL stuff for years and it was always exciting to find something new, but with the flood of stuff coming out, I've finally come to the realization that I can't get it all. Just financially I can't afford it, I don't have the space for it, and with all the stuff coming out, I can now be more picky.

Of course, I only just came to this realization after SDCC when we saw so much GL stuff and knowing that the glut of movie stuff is coming...

FYI, Midtown comics had these at 50% off over the weekend. Not sure if the sale is still going on (I nabbed Sinestro) but its definitely worth waiting out since these don't seem to be moving that well...
