Siege #4 was quite disappointing, with all of the interesting aftermath really being dealt with in Dark Avengers.
In regards to Sentry, well a big lightning bolt barely tickled him but a bigger one fried him?
Also, what happened to X-Man/Nate Grey? We see him carted off by Norman's goons at the end of Dark X-Men but no further mention in Siege 4.
*shrugs*
They had to get rid of the character somehow but it feels, even having read Dark Avengers, that the fall of Sentry was somewhat stuck onto the end of Siege.
Reading Sentry: Fallen Sun I have a feeling that when the floating robot is done fixing whatever it is fixing, it'll come back and transform Skip into the next Sentry. Bob Reynolds, however, I expect to remain dead for a while longer.

I'd also like to know (much like Cry for Justice/Rise and Fall/Blackest Night) what order Siege, World War Hulks and X-Men Second Coming are supposed to be happening in.

Eh, it was alright. As always, Olivier Coipel's art was stunning, and as it has done throughout Siege as a whole, really covered for a multitude of Bendis' sins and made the book more than the sum of its parts. I'm starting to wonder if it was Coipel that was the true genius in the Straczynski/Coipel run on Thor, given how quickly JMS' magic on the title wore off once Coipel departed. Flawed as Siege #4 may have been, it was beautiful to look at.

But there were flaws. Chief among them was the treatment of my favorite Marvel villain, Loki. I had been looking forward to him stepping up to the plate and really getting a big role in this final instalment, but not only did that not happen, but Bendis had Loki act drastically out of character to the way Straczynski and more recently Gillen have been methodically building him up over the past couple of years. It was also a rather unremarkable, anti-climactic death for the character too, though I imagine his dealings with Hela in Siege: Loki to render himself basically immune to death will come back into play to ensure this isn't the end for him.

On the flipside, Loki's brother fared much better. Thor was a primo badass in this issue. It was appropriate to see him be the guy to ultimately bring Sentry down - given both the longstanding desire from fans to see Thor VS Sentry and just in terms of the story, with Asgard being destroyed. Siege showed Thor is not to be messed with. That crazy mofo will fry you to a cinder, pound you to mush with his hammer, throw your corpse into THE SUN then go dance with your mama.

Siege 4 was meh, and thanks marvel for destroying one my favoruite characteres, first you turn him into a junkie then a villan and then you kill him off, stuff like that pisses me off.
Why marvel why, oh well at least we got the heoric age, they can`t screw that up right?

The entire Siege storyline was entertaining. I figured issue 4 would end the way it did, given the knowledge it would lead into the "Heroic Age." Yes, it was some what lame that the Void was defeated in a lack luster manner, but Siege #4 reversed most of the effects of Civil War and ended Dark Reign. I thought it was a nice way to come full circle; The return of Thor, the return of Captain America/Steve Rogers, and Avengers re-assembled.

As far as timeline, I'd say Siege takes place slight before World War Hulks and before Second Coming.

I'm pretty sure you can get quicker subscriptions, like ones that'll ship within one week.
