So, clearly, Red Lantern Razer is going to keep his ring and fight alongside our heroes. And we're getting the Star Sapphire Corps sooner, rather than later, and also a giant, glowy-space-squid-thingy. Interesting.

I hope they arent rushing these corps into the show. Heres hoping they have some non lantern based villains planned. With the show starting back up in March, I've really got tho question why Cartoon Network even bothered to show that preview in November.

Great find btw.

Thank you genius...Perth me try to explain this for your clearly higher level of intellect. What is the point of premiering the show in november and not capitalizing off any hype made from it? The lure of the live action film had been gone long before then so there was no added incentive from that to get it out then.

i can see this be the same for gl regarding my sonar and force comment

always remember this toon is aimed at kids mainly so if they see a toy they want theyll bug there parents for it

So many pretty colors!

Nice to see some actual movement on the show. Maybe DC will finally move ahead with the animated style comic to tie in with the show now.

It's the WB we're talking about here so I'm sure it's the same reason we got a barely-finished-non-sfx-"there's water in the tap" Green Lantern movie trailer months before the movie was even finished.
WB...

Meh... Batman, Superman, JL. Superman, Batman, JL. I've grown weary of the same thing over and over again. This is Superman/Batman Public Enemies meets Crisis on two earths... I Will be watching this, but I feel no rush to do so. None. At. All.

Great find Dubbuya

Sadly this is all that WB really cares about. I mean Superman and Batman can actually sell, but they don't take much time to consider other heroes outside of a few.

The premiere was awesome and it's been killing me waiting for more episodes. I've watched the premiere like 15 times thanks to the DVR. And now that you mention it the animated movies do seem to go Superman, Batman, and then JL. After JL: Doom we get Superman vs the Elite and then The Dark Knight Returns. Hopefully there will be another GL movie or a Flash movie sometime soon.

Good news DC fans! WF has found that Green Lantern: The Animated Series will run on Saturday mornings at 10am(ET). January is almost over, and then there is the short month of February until we get some new episodes of GL:TAS and even Young Justice returns in March. New episodes of Young Justice return to Cartoon Network beginning Saturday, March 3rd, 2012, with new Green Lantern: The Animated Series to follow later in the month. Green Lantern: The Animated Series is currently scheduled to air Saturday beginning March 3rd, 2012, with Young Justice airing immediately afterwards at 10:30am (ET).

The all-new Young Justice episode "Misplaced" airs Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 at 10:30am (ET), proceeded by a special re-airing of Green Lantern: The Animated Series "Beware My Power: Green Lantern's Light, Part One" at 10:00am (ET). New episodes of Green Lantern: The Animated Series air slated to debut March 17th, 2012.

Unfortunately, Cartoon Network did not confirm whether the DC Nation programming block also debuts on March 3rd, 2012, though an official announcement is expected within the next two - three weeks. If you're not a morning person, don't fret because Cartoon Network will also air encore presentations of Saturday-debuting episodes of Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice every Sunday beginning at 10am (ET).

Veteran actor Ian Abercrombie, the man behind Ganthet's voice for the Green Lantern animated series, passed away on Thursday, January 26th, at the age of 77. Born in England in 1934 Abercrombie had a very successful career as a character and voice actor, performing such roles as Mr. Pitt on Seinfeld and Professor Crumbs on the hit Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place.

Genre fans will recognize the actor in his role as Alfred Pennyworth on the short-lived Birds of Prey television series and as the voice of Emperor Palpatine in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. He also played a number of small roles in television series like Babylon 5, Star Trek: Voyager, The Flash, and appeared in the films Army of Darkness, Young Frankenstein, The Crucifer of Blood and Puppet Master 3.

As the voice of Ganthet Ian Ambercrombie brought a great deal to the voice of the Guardian who has been so important to the Green Lantern mythology, lending the right amount of warmth and gentleness to the character. Ambercrombie had recently completed work on an episode of Green Lantern: The Animated Series.
