Yup. I really hate it when an editor hates a book I like, and decides to cancel it because they didn't like the route it was going, instead of cancelling it because of sales.

I know it sucks; they could have made some really good figures from the show.

Did Cartoon Network reject any offers to make toys based off the series because they seemingly wanted it to fail (they tend to cancel shows if they donít have toylines)?

Does Dragon Riders of Berk have a toy line? I've never seen any, but I mostly see the toy sections of Fred Meyer and Target.

Seems like CN is pushing THAT show.

Yup and itís comedy adventure, something that CN seems to love more than anything.

Besides I wouldn't be surprised if they made a toyline based off of it in the future.

the movie itself had/has a toyline, still see some of them at Toyz'R'Us, but as far for the tv show itself no i don't think so

Is he!? Though now that you mention it, Volpe said on twitter a while back ago, before the hiatus, that Larfleeze would be making his appearance in the Halloween episode. And today he actually tweeted that this week's episode would have made a good Halloween episode.

Now I'm even more excited!

Don't trust IMDB, they often made mistakes. I remember before the series premiered that they listed the first episode as "Wrath of Parallax" or something like that. There’s nothing to confirm that Larfleeze will be in this week's episode anyway.

They are usually pretty on point with the cast lists though. Everything else is a coin toss

What was with Razer in that first vid. Dude came off extremely creepy. Plus I'm seriously doubting that Hal requested that Razer picked up the weapon for him, it seed like a last minute excuse.

I don't know what you're talking about. It looked to me like perfectly normal progression in the relationship between Razor and Aya, especially after Razor's slight stumble in the last episode. The setting and music coming together w/ Razor's initiative and Aya's receptiveness... but way to tease us, Animated creators!!

Well to be fair Nick Jones inserted himself into IMDB cast list, and it was a rumor at one point (only he started it because he wanted to be famous).

Just watched it with my son. What a fun episode! A little bit of Star Terk, a little bit of Star Wars, this worked really well for me.

Kind of a classic idea borrowed for this episode, but I'm not complaining at all. I like the show being a vehicle to tell different stories with the GL setting. The road trip theme the cast is going through naturally lends itself to that.

Brown as Sinestro was fine. Not who I would have picked, but a much smoother tone of voice than I thought Brown would use. They did get him right, had the ring on the correct hand, the new eye color from the comics, and I liked the uniform. I also enjoyed the bit of hero worship that Hal has for him. Apparently Sinestro is already outed as a Captain Kirk type, bending the rules. In the comics he appears to be be a Picard type, but acts differently when enacting his own secret agenda. For the sake of expediency, this works here.

Glad to hear the early word. One more little appetizer for the rest of us before the main course.

I thought Sinestro was PERFECT on this. I didnt mind the voice of Pearlman. Definitely not someone I would naturally pick for Sinestro. I always picture him with a proper English accent for some reason. But Pearlman still delivered well I believe. Cannot wait for the eventual departure from the Corp (if this show makes it that long..)

The spider Guilds weapons seem to fire yellow energy (presumably based on the yellow ore that was in the prison) If and when Sinestro falls, are we looking at the spider guild being the source of his Yellow Ring rather than the Qwardians?

Me too, which is why I thought Perlman was pretty close to awful.

I think we'll see Qward as the true source of whatever bits the Spider Guild had. Sinestro didn't seem to worried that the Guild was blown to pieces, so their source of yellow energy isn't a loss to him.

You really thought it was awful!? I mean I was kind of hoping he would sound more like Slade in Teen Titans but I actually liked the voice he used more! I've always seen Sinestro as like a military figure and I think Perlman's voice was perfect for it.

It wasn't "Oh my precious ears!" awful but I was really disappointed. I didn't sound stern enough, and maybe that's just because he wasn't saying much. I just wasn't impressed and had hoped for something a lot better.
