Looking back on this, Hal doesn't have the imagination to create an anatomically correct woman, let alone her vagina. Mister Bubbles-and-Boxing-Gloves couldn't find a clitoris if his life depended on it, much less create one.

I didn't re-read the posts here to see if this was mentioned, but there's an early issue of GL series 3 where Guy makes construct bikini girls to serve him. You have to assume that they might've done more than hand him beer.

And that's the sort of thing that makes it difficult for me to give much credence to Geoff's stupid retcon that using the ring is like passing a kidney stone every time. There are just too many instances of GLs making constructs when they aren't strictly necessary (even AFTER Geoff said that) for me to credit the idea that it is that taxing to do even the smallest thing.

I'm guessing that this is something that the Guardians would frown upon, if not directly outlaw. Going back to GL vol 2 #40, (perhaps earlier, I don't remember) readers see that the GotU can listen in and receive data when a ring is used. They might tolerate occasional superfluous uses of their rings, but I doubt that they would consent to their lawgivers essentially having traveling construct brothels.

I do wonder how the Guardians select their officers. Do they view the GLs as cannon fodder? Are corps looked at as expendable?

Hopefully, the little blue guys in red dresses aren't complete dictators over their service men and women. I hope they allow the troops some 'activities' while off duty. I know Guy was permitted to have a club on Oa, but when there's socializing and stimulating beverages allowed, beings are apt to engage in *ahem* certain things. Also, the Guardians mate with the Zamarons, so surely there has to be some sorta protocol, or allowance.

I'm probably overthinking the whole thing, but this topic's title got me thinking.

NOTE: I'm aware of Ganthet and Sayd btw.
