I trust Azzarello enough to get this. He had the cojones to drop out of the Suicide Squad book when Heroes in Crisis delivered him a completely radioactive Wally West.
But the presence of Harley Quinn still worries me. That's got to be because of the upcoming movie, not because Azzarello wants her there? Could it be both?

The murder of the Waynes and Superman lifting a car. DC is thinking of more new stuff all the time, isn't it?

Well, it IS a retelling of a radio serial from the 40s, so using famous Golden Age imagery in another context is excusable. It's not the same pose and same angle as Action Comics #1, which I agree we have seen too often.
Murder of the Waynes? What did I miss?

That Strange Adventures cover by Shaner is gorgeous! I always liked Adam Strange so I'll at least check this out.

Picked up the Justice League: Hawkworld trade yesterday, read through it a little bit ago. I grabbed a couple random issues during that run, but reading this more complete view of the storyline was actually very gratifying (Luthor and Joker trying to kill each other was hilarious). I had previously grabbed a couple issues of Sixth Dimension, and now I want to get into that even more having read this trade.Villain Draft 3: Fourth Place Winner

Nah, to me it makes perfect sense. There is no better time to put that trade out than when the tv show drops. Just refer the trade to coincide with the new date for the show when they figure that out.

Oh my LORD that Miller cover is dogshit! Someone take his pencils and inks away so he stops embarrassing himself like this!

I didn't think it was possible for Miller's artwork to degrade from the already-low point of Superdick.
I was wrong.Villain Draft 3: Fourth Place Winner
