Default I hate Mattel.

Just saw of their new stuff coming out(...very old news for everyone else) like the young justice line coming up.

I think their prices are absolutely ridiculous by the sub par quality they release their figures with. seriously the 6" young justice line is just the DCUC line...but with a couple more accessories and a box that would normally fit a 2pack.

I hate their green lantern movie line (the movie masters and 3 3/4 figs). Their small figures are seriously the figures I used to get in my kids meal when I was younger and for 8 bux a pop?!?! Fuck that.

I think the movie masters line sucks. Articulation is horrible and theyre smaller than the DCUC line but just as expensive. Id really like to give them the quality benefit of a doubt, but theres nothing good about these figures.

I HATE YOU MATTEL!!!!!! lol

...and my reason lies with them not giving me an interview! hahahahha

Not to make excesses for Mattel but I believe it takes over a year to get a figure from sculpt to store shelves. I'm not so sure Mattel was given enough time to fabricate the figures. Notice the 3 3/4" Stel figure is a 'concept' figure. Mattel ran with what they had and probably had to make the figures with minimal articulation due to time constraints. Be happy you are getting a whole slew of GL Corps figures. (Now the price does seem a bit steep but that is why I save all my receipts and when they go on sale I get a refund for the discounted sale price.)

im sorry i went a on a negative nancy rant.... the hole in my pocket would feel better if the figures made me feel better...

but if were looking to be more ecologically efficient...why release these figures in a huge box..these tree killers lol.

Mattel doesn't know crap about 3 3/4 figures.

Hasbro is where it's at.

When I got the first MM I wasn't too impressed either....but once you get them displayed together they look quite awesome.

I got a MM Hal Jordan when they first came out, saw that it was so much smaller than the DC Directs, put it back in the box, and returned it.

I prefer the DC Directs over the DCUCs.

And, although I am not a fan of a lot of points of articulation, I will admit Hasbro does 3 3/4 inch figures better.

So, all this time, I thought I liked Mattel, but you guys just convinced mer I don't.
