I'm wondering if this is just a Multiverse-displaced Magog (like the Kingdom Come Superman), or if it is just New Earth's own version of Magog coming to be?

Default JSA #18 (spoilers!)

Yo.

one word: is any1 really surprised that the new MAGOG has finally been chosen, or whom was chosen to be it?? plus, I think Carter is gonna flip out on somebody REAL soon, and I think Grants gonna be tapping some butt-kickin' booty in the near future.......if he's lucky that is.

yet again, this is 1 of the books I always clamour for each month.

More of the same. It really feels like Geoff is dragging his heels in this book. He's trying to make it interesting, but hes not really. I dunno, its alright, but this isn't his best work at all.

I liked it, but this is definitely a story that benefits most from being read in a TPB.

Yeah this issue is a bit too average, but hey Geoff is a very busy man, not to give him any excuses though mind you.

Though I really enjoyed this issue, "too busy" should never be an excuse. I'm certain there's a hundred very respectable comic book writers clamoring for the chance to write something like JSA... yet here's Geoff given the duty of numerous monthly comics and minis, specials, etc..

Not that that's his fault, per se... if all of these offers are coming his way, of course he shouldn't be turning them down.
