Ok I did my own research and here is the full context. Because every now and then I read about that time Hal and Powergirl did whatever so I think is time to put that to rest.

This is 2 issues before the Hal and PG thing

The next issue Aquaman breaks up with PG (PG says they need each other but Aquaman rejects PG and says he cant need anyone, he being haunted by the memory of his wife and becouse they are teammates and a couple issues later Aquaman resigns the team making it obvious it was becouse of her et cetera)

It does involves some memory erasing, Hal doesnt even know who he is or how to use his powers (so powergirl likes Hal when hes not being Hal?)

    Then next panel this happen

That was my point. Hal womanizing Power Girl was when he wasn't even himself... the space bug aside, even.

Apparently DC was going to do a big thing with Power Girl giving birth to Hal's kid, but that became warped into the weird cosmic birth she had during Zero Hour that went nowhere when they chickened out.

You missed the scene in the office a few panels before. A great view of cleavage.

A mystic pregnancy indeed. Offspring, you'll recall, was named Equinox, and he mysteriously disappeared during the Underworld Unleashed cross-over. Rumor has it that Atlantean scientists had something to do with the conception, generated from material found in the folds of Power Girl's uniform, a dastardly plot of Arion's to discredit Arthur Curry. (Or was that just in my fan fictions? Or the Oval Office?) About the same time we learned Carol Ferris was also pregnant, with an unknown father--egad, the art of a pregnant Star Sapphire was repulsive indeed.

So just when was Viagra invented, guys? I forget.

The power of will is found at the deepest level of your being. It's more than mere rules. It's a duty that you must honor.

It wasn't that Hal was in long-term committed relationships previously in his history (the demands of the story seldom allowed that), it was that he was pretty strictly monogamous. He was involved with a lot of women over the years, but when he was involved with each one, they were his sole romantic focus. He didn't play the field. The fact that those relationships didn't last had more to do with writers wanting to move the story in a different direction than any apparent lack of devotion on Hal's part. Throughout most of his history, Hal was more of a serial monogamist than a "player".

^This exactly! Until Johns, I never got the opinion that he would have a series of one night stands with whom he wouldn't even remember the name of the woman while she's still in the house (let alone two timing like I'd expect from a womanizer). Serial monogamist is the perfect description. And even then you have to remember we are talking about a character that maybe aged twenty years over a fifty year period. Batman had a number of conquests in that time too (Daredevil even more from what I've heard).

Hal had always had a healthy love-life, but I wasn't a fan of how GJ promoted the notion that Hal would sleep with women and not even remember their names. (at least in one instance I can recall, she didn't remember his either)

I like to think that he and Arisia are actually hooking up on the DL and that's why we never see them speaking to one another when everyone else is there - they're trying to keep it secret.

Agreed! Hal had a lot of relationship, but it was never THAT bad prior to 2005.

Were they trying to mimic the Carol Danvers/Ms.Marvel mystical pregnancy with that?

I've always wondered how that would work. Writers over the years differed on whether Kryptonians could impregnate humans, but what about the reverse scenario? I seem to remember Jor-El once saying that human DNA and Kryptonian DNA were just too different to produce offspring, but I have no idea how much of that idea ever influenced PG.

Im guessing it would have been a living construct (like Pel Tavin) created from Hals will or something like that since they never had sex just a kiss. It actually ended up in a similar way. Arion a kryptonian mage and the grandfather of Powergirl impregnate her with a mystical baby. Basically cosmic incest. And arguably rape since PG was pissed at Arion and saying how could he have done that with they being family and all that.

Here Emerald Knight/Pel Tavin a full powered Daxamite with a power ring created by the subconscious of Kyle Rayner, saying farewell to Powergirl

Was PG even Kryptonian at the time? She's wearing that outfit that was supposed to indicate her Atlantean heritage or something, right? (I can't keep track with her)

I am SO glad they didn't saddle Hal with a kid out of wedlock - that is not something I'd ever have any interest in reading...

It came VERY close, so yeah, a bullet dodged there. They would have had to kill the kid off eventually, like Aquaman's son.

I think at that time they were pretending PG wasn't Kryptonian, but Atlantean. Or something.

What you're saying makes sense. I 've always assumed that characters in romantic relationships are sleeping together off-panel, and I'm pretty sure that's what I thought Hal & PG were doing back then.
I liked the idea of Pel, Oblivion, and a GL Alexandra Dewitt. It reinforced the idea that Kyle's active imagination was always churning out interesting things even when he was unaware of it. I've always wanted to see some version of Circle of Fire done in animation.
