Eight days until you're sweating like a pig. The SD humidity absolutely kills me since I come from the zero humidity, dry-heat desert. I wish there was a pill you could take to quickly acclimate your body to the change.

It's typically humid in the SF Bay Area, especially the city of San Francisco because of the fog. However, it's never really a combination of heat an humidity. I'll be looking to putting on shorts and t-shirts for SDCC.You just witnessed the strength of geek knowledge. N.W.A., Nerd With Attitude. Straight out of Vulcan!

I'll probably be using SuperShuttle on the way to the Hotel since I won't be in a rush, but will probably catch a taxi on the way back to the airport. All the delays, waiting around for people that aren't ready and bad traffic makes my wife uneasy.
We’re always looking for ways to help our loyal readers save money. So if you are travelling from out-of-town and need a ride to your hotel from the San Diego International Airport our friends at SuperShuttle are once again giving SDCC attendees a discount when booking their shuttle service online. The San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog has the exclusive first release of this discount code, and to keep it simple the discount code will be the same as last year. Go to the SuperShuttle website and apply the discount code: XOMIC for either a one-way or round-trip service. Here is the breakdown of the services offered by SuperShuttle and the discount:

We dont even waste time with that. We take the free Fox Rental Car shuttle and then hop on the trolley to our hotel from there.I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

Yeah, heading back to the airport and waiting for the Super Shuttle van is nerve racking, especially when you have alot of carrying luggage filled with exclusives and you want to get the overhead bins.
I did Super Shuttle once and their price for two people one way was able the same for a cab for two people. Also, my wife and I were the last ones to be dropped off at our hotel from the airport when we took a Super Shuttle van, which was annoying. You just witnessed the strength of geek knowledge. That's what I always wanted to do. Take a free rent a car shuttle to their facility near the trolley line and then take the trolley to the hotel. You just witnessed the strength of geek knowledge. N.W.A., Nerd With Attitude. Straight out of Vulcan!

That's how we've done it two years in a row now.I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

I'll be hauling too much crap to take a trolley. My cosplay gear takes one small suitcase and my regular clothing takes the other. Plus, the wheel on my large suitcase is broken, so I have to practically drag the damn thing, so with all of that AND a backpack... the less crap I have to lug around, the better off I am.

That's understandable. Aside from our own personal carry on bags I fit all the stuff for the three of us in one suitcase .I LOVE conspiracy theorists. 3 people in ONE suitcase?!? Damn you little people! *furiously shakes fist in the air*
All my clothing are XXL, so all my stuff takes up tons of suitcase space. I have to try and pack light this year, though. Last year, I brought too much stuff that I didn't even use.

I'm like Sylent where I have extra items to bring along like comic books for signing and evening wear for the Gaslamp after the con floor closes. So I typically have one large suitcase and a backpack. But this year, I may bring an extra carry on luggage for exclusives to haul back. You just witnessed the strength of geek knowledge. I tend to now bring much extra in the way of things to get signed and such. I save most of that for NYCC as many of the same people attend it.
My mother taught me how to pack very well. Last year I fit all the clothes for three guys for one week in one bag. Plus an extra bag for bringing things home and the shirt folder I used to make every thing fit.I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

I won't be bringing that many books for signings. It's a hassle to get anything signed at SDCC because of the crowds and the time limits. Unless it's a popular artist/writer, I'll try to save that stuff for a smaller, local show.
I always have my cosplay stuff in the carry-on because there's no weight restriction. My leather trench is extremely heavy, so in prior years, that would take me over the 50 lb. weight limit. It's embarrassing when you're holding up the line at the airport by trying to swap clothing out to avoid the extra charge.
