The concept of the film suit is good, on paper it sounds great. It's just that it was executed appallingly. Maybe if it was made ten or twenty years later it'd have been pulled off...

Maybe. I think they're gonna want to distance themselves though. I reckon they should try for something at least somewhat different. Someone here said they should try for an almost futuristic spacesuit look, I reckon that'd be a great route to take.

I was mostly ok with the movie suit. I get that they wanted the rippling energy veins as a way so show Hal's intensity since he's a "point and shoot" hero. The only thing that actually bugged me about the suit was the mask-shape and how you could see his toes like he was wearing socks as opposed to the suit having padding on the feet.
