Eh, I'm with Johnny but it's just a preference. I don't claim to be a good fighter or even a hardcore gamer, so maybe it just appeals to my lousy fighting. Anyway, you can't just hold the block. You're punished for that.

Maybe so but I can't think of a fighter that doesn't punish excessive turtle-ing. Also when it's blindingly obvious that your opponent is blocking then there is no need to hit confirm either. That's a tension killer. The punishes are so much sweeter if you can see two fighters figuring each other out and throwing out fakes or really odd cancels. Of all the tournaments I've watched then the 3 MK9 ones were by far the worst. Even UMVC3 managed to be tense in spite of how fast paced it was (way too fast for me).

Just watched an interview with boon and they showed some footage, looks fun.


It was funny seeing batman nail the flash then catch him with the grappling gun, hang him by his feet and then drop kick him.

i can tell batman will be spammed to death when it comes to online matches

The Mutilevel arenas are cool..
