I hope you didn't pay too much, Ross's has been getting loads of them for $12.99

I paid about twice that, but since they are selling on Amazon for around 50, I'm okay with it.

But you can bet I'll be hitting the Ross store in the VERY near future.

Ah, you've been looking for minimates!!!! Glad we convinced you and got you into them, any luck? TRU's probably the nest place to go for them, there's been loads of TRU excusive series of minimates. However, here in the UK, we don't get cool stuf there such as minimates, comics or collectible action figures, just literaly toys. Kids toys, game consoles, games, and bikes. Never go there now, not for a few years. To childish for me, American TRU however are probably alot cooler.

BTW, that yellow Hal and Blue Kyle look awesome! If I still collected action figures, I'd be all over them......

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that part of it, I was actually looking for the minimates when I came across the Lanterns. But yes. this TRU did have a nice choice of marvel minimates. But I was on a limited budget. so I had to choice between them and the only DC Lantern the store had. But I will be starting a collection VERY soon. I even have the first box picked out, It's the Thor-Beta Ray one. very cool

All the TRU's in my area have 10 of that damn Shazam 2-pack with no Lanterns in sight.

Some news from Toy Fair 2013 – Mattel DC Unlimited, Watchmen, Club Infinite Earths

By Hagop – February 10, 2013

Quote:

Mattel showed off their various DC brands today, including the online subscriptions, Club Infinite Earths and Watchmen, as well as their retail DC Unlimited and Batman Unlimited lines.

Highlights included:

Batman Unlimited:

Damian Wayne

Batman Beyond–this re-issued figure will have a new headsculpt, matte finish, and WILL include the wings

DC Unlimited:

No new figures announced, but we did get a look at a pre-production New 52 Darkseid, that looks much better than the previous leaked prototype pics.

Club Inifinite Earths:

Fire and Huntress pics were leaked last week, but we got to see them in person and they look great–especially their faces. Captain Marvel Jr. was on display as well, and I personally can’t wait to get that figure.

Watchmen:

We got to see the unique process used to create Silk Spectre’s see-through dress, and it looks pretty great. Also note that Comedian comes with a plethora of accessories.

But at least they managed to capture the look of Frank Quietley's artwork of Damian Wayne... which is to say that the newest Robin looks like a complete and total wanker, just like in the comic!

This only looks better than the prototype as in it has more surface detail and finished paint. It's still out of proportion and looks like a Gorilla in a Darkseid suit.

I'm done with Mattel figures for my personal collection. If my kids want them fine, so far they haven't asked for a single Mattel produced toy out side of barbies that I can remember, but for my personal collection, Mattel is out their prices are to high for the low quality sculpts and sizes they offer.

I at least still have the Watchmen Black Freighter sub. And I'm cherry picking the DCUC sub for Doom Patrol, Metal Men and JSA figures. Other than that I'm done with Mattel too.

You were too kind. I've had better looking bowel movements. Darkseid would be rolling in his... err rolling around the source wall if he saw this crap. The funny part about it is they had a chance to fix it and didn't.

I saw the Batman and Batgirl at my local Target recently along with Penguin and a DCnU Flash. They all looked pretty fantastic to me

I've been meaning to buy the New52 Batgirl, but I wanted to see if DC Collectibles would make one.

Good luck finding that Batgirl. That's always the first figure to go.

Yeah, that's what happened with Harley and Nightwing but after a few months I could find them at Target and Walmart. And there's always eBay sellers from China that provide free shipping.

I've seen all the figures except Hawkman. I passed on all of them. I keep picking up Flash and looking at him, but I just can't lower myself to buy it. I did buy nU GL from the smaller scale Justice League kid's line that's Target exclusive yesterday.

My local Target doesn't have any of that stuff. There's nothing but empty pegs. I've been asking the stock guy to scan the UPC code with the inventory gun and it always comes up empty.

I think my local Target must have gotten them in the last week. They haven't been there any longer than that. They were already moving though.

I actually believe this supposed to be a variation of the movie costume.
